Millie dashed to Finn's trailer, which was only about 50 feet away from hers. When she reached the door, she tried to enter but found that it was locked.

"Finn! Finn! It's Millie! Open the door! I need to talk to you!" she shouted. It was already 8:30 PM in the evening. Fortunately, most of the production crew had gone home already. Nobody was around to witness Millie's dramatic moment.

Oh God, what if he's mad at me? What if he's heartbroken? This is all so stupid. I could have been with Finn a long time ago if only he had made a move, or heaven forbid, if I had made a move. These and many other thoughts raced through Millie's mind. A mind full of fear tends to exaggerate the gravity of a situation. But a mind full of fear and love blows everything twice out of proportion.

"Mills! Millie! What are you doing?" called out a voice from behind. Millie spun around and saw Caleb, all packed and ready to go home. "Are you looking for Finn?"

"Oh God, Lucas, yes, I really need to talk to him," Millie said. She ran to Caleb and needed a hug. She was in need of some form of human touch, any reassuring contact that would let her know it would be alright. Filming was about to finish, and it would be months before she saw Finn again for Season 3 production.

"Is this about earlier Mills? Because I'm not sure it's a good idea to talk to Finn right now," Caleb said sounding concerned. Millie knew that if push came to shove, Caleb would side with Finn over her. And taking Finn's side meant sympathizing with him, and Millie realized Caleb might have viewed her as someone insensitive to Finn's obvious feelings.

"Yes, oh my God, I just found out from Sadie that he was going to ask me out? Or that he felt bad I agreed to be Romeo's date to the Paris gala?" Millie looked at Caleb with big eyes full of emotion.

"I'm not sure if I'm supposed to tell you this, but..."

"But? But what?! Say it! Please..."

Oh God, Finn's going to kill me, Caleb thought to himself. Bros before hoes, that's the most important code in an agreement of men. But if this will help Finn get what he really wants, I guess this is an exception. "Okay, but you have to promise not to tell. Promise?" Millie nodded her head vigorously.

"Well, Millie, Finn asked Noah to buy roses and chocolates for you and to put them in your trailer. You were supposed to find them after the dance scene was filmed," Caleb began.

"HE WHAT!?" Millie screamed.

"Shush! Calm down, or I'm not going to tell you the rest," Caleb hissed. After Millie mumbled an apology, he continued. "Finn was going to leave a note that was basically asking you to his prom in Vancouver. It was also his way of telling you that he really liked you, and asked if you ever thought the two of you could be...you know.."

"What? Be what?" Millie said. She could not control her excitement. Then again, any girl on the verge of learning the truth about what her crush thought of her would not have been able to control her excitement.

"He thought the two of you could be...together. A couple. Boyfriend and girlfriend...Millie are you okay?" Caleb looked at Millie. Her eyes had a glassy look and were filling quickly with tears. Her face turned red very quickly. Her face betrayed a cocktail of emotions swirling together: excitement, flattery, embarrassment, disappointment, a fear of the unexpected.

"Where is he?" Millie managed to speak with a choking voice.

"Home. He went home with Gaten maybe ten minutes ago. You just missed him." Gaten said. Millie cursed under her breath and ran back to her trailer, to get her cellphone.

When Millie reached her trailer, Nat and Sadie were still inside, looking with shock and expectation at Millie's red face. "He wants me to be his girlfriend!" Millie let out in a half-squeal, half-whimper. She held the tears back, and heard Sadie and Natalia squeal.

Sadie ran to Millie. "What did you say?! Did you say ye-"

"He went home. Oh God, I need to call him," Millie proclaimed. She called him up and his phone started to ring. No answer.

She called him three more times.

No answer.
