"Millie's trying to call your phone, Finn," Gaten said.

Finn sat up with a jolt at first, realizing that the mere mention of her name had made him so excited. He quickly decided against it then lay back down again.

"I'm not ready to talk to her yet," Finn replied with a dry voice.

"She might think you're mad at her dude," Gaten replied. "Like seriously. When a guy whom a girl likes isn't answering his phone, the chick thinks of two possibilities. Either he's out getting wasted on booze, or he's making out with another chick." That was Dustin's way of thinking, as always; very practical, but also very funny.

That assumes I'm even her guy in the first place, Finn thought to himself. But nooo, she has to go for Romeo-friggin-Beckham. "Let's just keep watching this movie, Gaten," Finn said with finality as he turned his attention to the screen. Gaten knew that it was time to keep quiet. Finn was moody, by nature, and sometimes needed space before he opened up to anyone again.

On their way back from the set, Gaten dragged a listless Finn to a nearby Pizza Hut. They ordered three large boxes of pepperoni, meat-lovers, and Hawaiian pizzas. "Food is the answer to depression," Gaten always said. Gaten was usually the most optimistic cast member on Stranger Things, and he had made quite a reputation of bringing people on food trips whenever they were sad for any reason. They then proceeded to Finn's house where they just decided to watch movies for the rest of the night.

"I'm gonna see her tomorrow, right?" Finn said, speaking up and breaking the silence all of a sudden.

Sigh, he must really be heartbroken. He's still thinking about her and won't shut up. "Nah, Millie isn't scheduled for any scenes tomorrow. She's taking the day off at a signing event downtown."

Finn groaned. "Can I just reschedule my scenes and be with her instead? Like, I really miss her."

"You were with her an hour ago, Finn. What the hell?" Gaten replied.

"Can we go to her house now?" Finn said.

Gaten had had enough and closed the television screen with the remote. "HEY!" Finn shouted." I was watching!"

"Finn, I've had enough. I get it; you're heartbroken. You say you wanna move on and remain friends with Millie. An hour later, you wanna skip work and go to her PR event. Worse, you want to show up at her doorstep in the middle of the night and beg for her love!" Gaten spoke with increasing exasperation. "Have some dignity man! I get it, you think you're the one for Mills. Maybe you are, maybe you aren't. But in any case, don't let her know that you're crushed and pathetic without her. You're gonna be even less attractive and look more like a loser next to Romeo Whats-His-Name."

"Beckham

"Beckham."

"Yeah, whatever. But do you get my point?"

"Yeah, I do. Fine, I'll just talk to her on Monday. I'm not gonna act desperate or whatever. I'll just be...Finn. And hopefully I'll get another shot again one day," Finn said reassuring himself. He knew that his efforts at building his self-confidence were futile.
