Lesley's Pov

So it's been two weeks since the fight and I've been a nervous wreck.

I don't really know why Jason and Jesse are in such bad terms. I mean, I understand that he sent him to jail and basically rat on him but, it just doesn't make sense to me.

It's been such a long time and a lot has changed.

Can't they just make a truce and go their separate ways?

I will never understand.

I closed my house door and started walking towards the park.

Justin wants to meet me there. We haven't hung out on our own since our project so I guess this could be a good chance for us to be friends.

To think, ever since I started high school I hated this guy because of his cockiness.

And now, he's the reason I'm at peace.

The sun illuminated the sky and the clouds provided shade and a slight breeze downward, giving me slight chills and a few burnt spots on my skin.

I continued walking down the path toward the old oak tree. It's my favorite spot in this park. I used to come here whenever I was in a gloomy mood and write a few songs or sketch a few drawings.

As I drew close to the oak tree, i saw Justin sitting under it.

I guess he knew about this spot too.

It provided just the amount of shade to see your phone screen.

He was sitting under it and using his phone.

"Justin!" I yelled.

His head immediately rose to the sound of my voice. He looked at me and waved a hand. Then, he smiled.

I don't know what's going on. Whenever he smiles I get a few chills. Why? I don't exactly know. I promised myself I would never have feelings for this guy since the beginning of high school and I'm still sticking to them.

I smiled back and then jogged towards him.

When I was right next to him, I sat down and took out my notebook filled with drawings.

"What's that?" Justin asked looking at it. "My drawing book. In here, I draw things that I see, including the things I see in my mind. I come to this oak tree to draw all the time," I replied.

"Ohh. That's cool. I come here to think," Justin added.

I gently nodded my head and opened my notebook. I took out a pencil and started sketching.

My body faced Justin and my knees were bend-ed.

"Can I see what your drawing?" Justin said.

I shook my head and let out a light giggle.

"Whyyyy," Justin whined. "Because I said so," I answered.

This could be fun. He isn't acting like he usually does though. He's more...soft. Not that I'm complaining or anything. I focused my eyes on my drawing and started drawing the nose. "Justin," I said , "can you face me please? I need to see your face," I said.
