Justin's POV
It's been a couple of hours since the battle. Jason's still in the hospital recovering, and so are most of the people that got shot. Luckily,no one died. A couple of near to death situations, but no death, besides my heartbreak.
It hurts so much. Just thinking about her makes my heart ache.
Jesse, that stupid prick. Why did he have to do that? Why didn't he ask for Nina or something? I wouldn't mind giving her up.
But Lesley? Bro that was off limits.
The sun shined through the blinds as time sped ahead. "Justin! breakfast! C'mon I know you're hungry!" I heard my mom yell.
Usually, I'd come running down the stairs and wait for her to give me my plate. But today, I don't remember what hunger feels like.
I sighed before getting myself off my tear stained bed, and walked slowly down the stairs.
"Good morning baby," My mom said as she placed the plates on my seat and hers. "Morning," I mumbled. "So...how was yesterday?"My mom said, her voice uncertain.
Why does she have to remind me of everything? I started feeling a lump in my throat and my stomach flipped. "Everything is fine." "Oh really?," she started, "So no more fighting?" she begged.
"Yeah...no more. We um, came to a truce," I choked. "Justin is everything alright?" she asked. I nodded my head.
Oww....I can already feel my headache coming. I sat down on a stool and played with my eggs. "Justin you know not to play with your food. Now c'mon eat." I sighed before pushing the plate away from me.
"I'm not hungry mum," I breathed. "Justin seriously, what is it? You always eat your eggs," My mom affirmed.
Memories of last night came flooding to me like a hurricane. My eyes starting to water. Her haggard facial expression, and her tear stained cheeks just make my heart break every time.
I feel like I've been shot in the all places of my body. Hell, I wish I was shot instead of facing this pain.
"Justin baby you're crying," My mom pointed out. I quickly wiped my face and shook my head. "I'm fine, I'll be in my room," I said I got up from my stool and headed towards the stairs.
"Do you want me to call Lesley?"
I can't do it anymore. I shook my head and turned towards my mom, showing her my wet face.
"We broke up yesterday," I choked, my voice cracking. "Ohh my baby," My mom said as she rushed towards me, embracing me in a hug. "So that's how the fight ended huh."
I nodded my head in her shoulder, trying to control my sobs. "It's okay baby. I know you loved her. You can let it out."
"I miss her ma, so much," I croaked. Mom continued rubbing my back soothingly and nodded. "I'm gonna miss her too. When your with her, your always in a good mood. Even if she wasn't here in this house, you were still in a good mood. Before, your mood was almost as if you wanted to just drop out of school and live here by yourself. But with Lesley, with her, it showed your good side," My mom began and I cried into her shoulder.
