Chapter 8 Reunion

Zane leads the group into a church ruins.

"This is the place?" asks Tuka a hint of deceitfulness behind her voice.

With a nod the vampire guy explains. "I know its not much, but we can stay here."

As everyone sets their stuff down Neva looks around saying. "Someone's been here recently."

Zane looks to a corner where there is an opening in the churches roof.

A woman in a set of warrior armor, and a ninja mask jumps down saying. "The shadows hold surprises around every corner. But i am glad that you survived son."

The teens eye's widen in shock when the woman removes her mask revealing herself to be Sirena Nuru.

He gives her a hug as tears of joy.

"I would've said something but your mother made us promise not to. She wanted to surprise you." Tuka explains.

With a nod Sirena explains. "After i read the note i was attacked by the Huntress, a demon bounty hunter sent by the Master, a very powerful demon who wants to escape from a gateway. The dark forces need someone from the Nethsur bloodline, with the full power of Nickolis Nethsur to open a gateway to release this powerfull entity. Zane, you are that person. Azriel knows that the only other way free the is to return the power of the dark witch with the ability to create a dark vampiric stone. But the dark witch can only do so with the power of all the existing vampiric stones."

With a nod Darius explains. "Hannible did say he needed all the stones. Never said why."

Rolling her eye's Tuka answers. "Thats because he knows your without a brain."

With half angered look The vampire asks. "When are you gonna let up on me?"

Allowing a sharp glare to form on her face the werewolf woman answers. "The- same time the people who died in my village return to life, which is never going to happen."

Neva can't help but take a few steps back and hide behind Zane as the two step outside of the building continuing their argument.

"Is this normal?" Ask Sirena.

Signing no Zane answers. "It wasn't until Vandom showed up trying to steal the hope stone."

"How many do you have?" Asks Sirena.

The group looks to the entry way watching as Darius walks off. Tuka walks back in explaining. "Vandom actually came up with a good plan. He's gonna see about getting the VACC to give us a couple radio's used by the Kibo Clan during the war."

With a nod Sirena replies. "It would be an easy way to get started."

Night has fallen, Neva, Tuka, and Sirena are gathered around the fire. Zane is inside the church thinking though listening as he watches the woods around them.

"You're son is going to be pissed when he finds out i'm actually working for you." The Huntress says making herself known.

Tuka stands and assumes her werewolf form.

"Calm yourselves. The Huntress is working for me. During the attacks before she was just putting on an act. Gregor, played along. So did your father Zane."

Gregor, and Markavo walk from the woods. Zane runs to Markavo giving him a hug asking. "How was i speaking to you if you were alive?"

"Asteral projection, an ability legendary class vampires possess. I needed you, and any other dark sources to believe i was dead until the time was right."

Tuka resumes her normal form asking. "If the Huntress is a demon why would a woman, let alone a follower of god such as yourself have her working for you."
