Chapter 12 Balance?

Tuka walks to the camp sight finding Zane, Nevaru, and Nasho wide awake. It's early enough in the morning that the sun hasn't fully risen yet.

"What did your pack say?" Asks Nasho as everyone stands up ready to go.

Shaking her head the werewolf explains. "The pack elder wants me to bring you to him. He wants proof that some woman who calls herself Nasho the Huntress has the peace bringer with her."

Nasho and Zane exchange looks and she explains. "I told Zane my name because he would have found out either way. As for the rest of you, I wanted to make sure that my true name wasn't given to you until the time was right. The Silver Hyde pack knows I still follow the system of honor. Thus they will listen to me."

Everyone gabs their bags and follows Tuka along it. As they do Nevaru, and Zane exchange looks.

"Listen, about last night... I didn't think that-" Zane cuts Neva off. "Don't worry about it."

Nasho looks to Tuka explaining. "It's been centuries since the last time I have been to the Silver Hyde pack. So much must have changed between that time. I am not sure if I am still welcome."

In an understanding look Tuka replies. "The elders of my pack speak highly of you. I don't see why you wouldn't be. I get the whole vampires without honor thing, but you Zane, and Nevaru have honor of the highest degree. The rest of the pack will seek to test not only that honor, but their honor, but their warrior skills. Up until this point you've been training Zane to fight, and Nevaru has lived her entire life fighting. Be it mental, or physical. She's lived through a hell of a lot of things."

The group stops when they sight a group of werewolves sprinting in their direction. Tuka kneels when sighting a werewolf with silver fur. Zane, Nevaru, and Nasho kneel as well. The werewolf assumes a human form revealing himself to be the elder. "Nasho, it has been too long."

In agreement she replies. "Far too long my old friend. I would have come sooner but Hannible captured and cursed me. The boy is Zane Nuru. He is the peace bringer. The girl is Nevaru. They cured me of the curse. So i have helped them along thus far...... My friend... our worse fears have been realized. Hannible knows where the Hell bringer is. He intends to use whoever the one may be to open the portal which will release the demon into this dimension."

The elder man leads them into the village where other werewolves, can be seen in their human form, and their normal form doing their prospective jobs. Even children are doing their part.

"Not much has changed around here. Over time the appearance of people does. But the moralities the people have stay the same, because people live by the code of honor... and from what Tuka told me you have had a very eventful journey." The elder explains.

With a nod Zane replies. "It wasn't an easy one. For any of us. Now more than ever we need to stand together. Vampire, and werewolf alike."

"Otherwise this entire planet will be destroyed by Minarac." Adds Nasho.

The group walks into the village.

Shivering Neva asks. "Is it just me, or is it getting colder?"

"When the seasons begin to change this area is the first effected. It allows the Silver Hyde pack to adjust quickly to different conditions. This factor served the 401st well before Corruption war ended in 2022." One of the werewolves answers.

The group walks through until entering into a building where they see Markavo, Sirena, and Gregor. Everyone exchanges a hug. Nasho, and the elder man can't help but exchange smiles.

"No matter how many times I see it. I can never get over seeing the happy faces of people who are reunited with their families, and friends." Nasho opens.

Sirena hugs Zane saying. "Now I see how you and your father felt when I went off with the 401st to deal with the battle that ended the war."

"It was one hell of a thing to remember. I'm gonna be honest I was afraid of meeting you here." The vampire guy opens.

The group walks to a building where werewolves, vampires, and humans are gathered to watch the news.

As a reporter explains. "We have tragic news for everyone today, I have come to report to you all that today on October 27th 2024 Maxwell Raza... died in the line of duty. For victims who may have lost loved ones in the event we're holding back the details. We all have suffered a great loss. When he took leadership of the Kibo Clan he, and many others united all species. Humans, vampires, werewolves, zombies, and spirits alike. Because of him, and the United Alliance we... all of us stand together for the first time in history as one planet. Not humans, and monsters constantly fighting for control. But one people. A people who will continue to honor the death of Kibo Clans first leader who left a mark on the changed... united world. A world that will never forget everything he fought for. As Rogue Maxwell would never have agreed to be put in a position higher than anyone he's fought for, and along side. But we as a united planet must acknowledge the loss we have all suffered. In these dark times we need to stand and fight Azriel Hannible as he rises again."

Sirena wipes tears from her eye's saying. "Raza always said Hannible wouldn't rest until he killed all who appose him. Max would've wanted us to take an active role in the fight against Azriel."

Every person looks to vampire guy as a werewolf asks. "What will you do Zane Nuru?"

Stepping up Zane explains. "I know i'm no clan leader, and this past week has changed my entire life. For a lot of you that doesn't mean much. But i've been learning all kinds of new things... Stuff that i would never have thought possible. Maxwell Raza once believed that we all could stand together united as one. If you all fight for the same code of honor the Kibo Clan went by then help me prove that Max was right. Help me prove to him that we can still stand as one against the dark times we all face. If not for the Kibo Clan, then for the people you love, the person standing next to you. We've all seen first hand what Hannible's army is capable of. Azriel Hannible plans to bring much worse by releasing a demon named Minarac. Who will destroy not just our planet. But our entire dimension. Nasho the Huntress has survived Minarac's power. She can help us all to fight and defeat Azriel Hannible and his dark army. Who will stand with me, and my friends."

Neva, and Tuka walk to his side.

"I will." A werewolf opens walking to the guy's side.

"Seconded." A vampire adds walking to the werewolfs side.

One after another people walk up.

Nasho gives a nod saying. "We have our fighting force. It is time to gain allies where we already have them."
