Chapter 4 back on the road

Zane stops by along the path and looks ahead finding a small train station.

"Trains use to run along these tracks during the war against the dark forces." Michael Hannible opens walking over holding a map. "You need aid Mr. Nuru. I would recommend leaving town. I have reason to believe that there is a dark force chasing after you."

Confused the vampire teen questions. "what do you mean dark force? Like the weird creature i faced when whatever took over when i lost control and killed the Shadowbreakers?"

Michael nods and explains. "The creature has hired a bounty hunter to follow your trail. You must leave before she finds you."

Zane's eyes widen in horror when he realises something. 'Shit! Mom's gonna be the first target if anything this guy has to say is true.' The teen sprints off before the elder vampire can explain in detail.

Zane stops at the house finding the door wide open. He sprints in screaming. "MOM WHERE ARE YOU?!"

Frantically he runs from room to room checking each one. Finally he stops at his room finding the door shattered. His mothers corpse laying on the ground.

Markavo's ghostly voice opens. "I was mistaken too have helped that demon. All i wanted to do was help you, and your mother to restore honor to our family's once greatly known honor."

Zane runs over ignoring the ghost.

Tears roll down his face and he closes his eyes and he closes his mothers unblinking eyes saying. "I'm sorry... i should've been here. But i ran away like a damn coward." Signing no Markavo replies. "You wanted to protect her. So you left to look for help in gaining control of your powers. You had no way of knowing this would happen." Zane pulls his cellphone out of his pocket dialing 911. He explains everything and does as instructed.
