MANDAG.

the first day of school break. no homework, no waking up early, no tests and no seeing people alex doesn't like. all for two weeks.

she wakes up with a smile at past ten o'clock, stretching her arms out. she checks her phone for messages, showing an unread one from chris.

chris : good morning princess, sleep well?

alex smiles at the message before typing a reply.

alex : morning, i slept like a log

ever since the girls have been acting weird with alex, she's gotten a lot closer with chris. they don't argue like they used to do, they still bicker from time to time but that's only friendly banter. they do sometimes act like a couple even if they are just friends. chris still hasn't told alex about his feelings, he wants to. but he's waiting for the right moment.

chris : glad to hear that, are your parents home?

alex : no why?

chris : good, i'll be there in ten minutes with breakfast

alex quickly jumps up from bed, making it and goes to her wardrobe. as much as she feels comfortable with chris, she doesn't want him to see her dressed like a slob. she quickly puts on some high waisted jeans on and a simple black t-shirt tucked in. not bothering to put makeup on, as she's tidying her room, the doorbell rings.

she goes over to it and opens the door revealing chris with a bag in his hand.

'i brought us some breakfast.' he says with a smile walking into her house.

'morning baby.' he says quietly kissing her cheek before going into the kitchen. alex smiles, she loves it when chris calls her "baby" or "princess". it makes her extremely happy.

'can i just point out how incredible you look?' says chris as she walks into the kitchen.

'damn i wish i could have you for breakfast instead.' he says with a smirk making her slap his arm.

'you wish.'

'i wish i could have you right here now on this kitchen counter.'

'and i wish you would hurry up and get my food on a plate. two extremely different things.' says alex laughing as chris puts their pancakes on two separate plates.

'the closest thing i could find to ihop.' he says as he hands a plate to alex who is sat opposite him. she grabs a knife and fork and starts to eat the pancakes. not as good as ihop but it's a good alternative.

'that reminds me, i got you something.' he says handing her an envelope. alex looks at chris for a moment before opening the envelope. she reads the letter and tickets inside and drops her cutlery, putting her hand to her mouth.

'you got me tickets to phoenix?' she says in shock as he smiles.

'chris, why would you do this? this must have caused a fortune.' she says in shock, running her hand through her hand as she gets off her stool.

'i knew money's tight for you at the moment. it isn't for me and i have way too much money so i thought why not spend it on one of my favourite people.' he says with a smile.

'thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you!' she says repeatedly as she throws her arms around and pulls him close. as she pulls away, chris and alex look at each other for a moment before chris looks at her lips, biting his own.

'i'm sorry but you just look so damn kissable right now.' he says before kissing her. she puts her arms around his neck bringing him closer as he lifts her up on the kitchen counter. the kiss gets deeper and deeper as chris starts to kiss down her neck, nibbling on her neck.

out of nowhere, chris stops. their hearts beating fast as his hands rest of her thighs and he rests his forehead on hers.

'i am so sorry, i have no idea what came over me.' he says quietly.

'don't apologise, i enjoyed it.' she says with a smirk.

'it's just i'm going to need some more make up to cover up the hickeys you just left.' she says laughing slightly.

'jonas is honestly such an idiot for cheating on you.' he says kissing alex once more.

'you're the most amazing person i've ever met. you must be a fucking idiot to let you go. and you have to thank your lucky stars to have a girl like you.' he says kissing her again.

alex doesn't say anything in return, she just looks at chris and smiles. her arms still around her neck.

'kiss me again.' she says as he kisses her once more.

'i think you deserve more than just a kiss after getting me a plane ticket
to phoenix.' she says with a smile.

'oh and what am i getting?' he says with a smirk.

'you're not getting any sex that's for damn sure.' she says laughing making him roll his eyes.

'i see you bought two tickets.' she says taking the tickets from the counter.

'come to the states with me.'
