LØRDAG.

'hey grandma, can i talk to you?' says alex while chris and her grandpa play tennis.

'of course honey, what's up?' she asks with a smile.

'it's about chris.'

'oh no, what's happened? i was really starting to li-'

'no no no, it's nothing like that. it's just the other day he said he was falling with me.' she says awkwardly stratching the back of her head.

cecilia looks at her for a second then nods her head.

'i think i understand where you're going with this. you don't know how you feel about him.'

'yes exactly! you see grandma despite what you see, we're not in a relationship. chris and i have always had a weird relationship. i'm not going to lie i have been a little bit of a bitch to him in the past. but the thing is i recently got out of a relationship and the guy was the sweetest person on earth.'

'was that the jonas your mum told me about?'

'yes, honestly he was so sweet, he treated me so good. but even when i was him, somewhere in the back of my mind there was chris. no feelings or anything like that, i was just scared of losing him.'

'from what i'm understanding is that, you might be falling for chris but you still have feelings for jonas.'

'yes that's it! and it's making me some confused and i don't know what to do.' she says resting her chin on her hands.

'now i'm saying this from my point of view, from what i've seen. i was young like you and chris once, i did go out with men before i met your grandfather. each man made me feel special but it wasn't until i met your grandfather that i truly felt this feeling that i couldn't described, even to this day i can't describe! and that feeling was my love my dear.'

'i know you might feel like you're too young but there isn't any age in love.' she says, looking at chris who looks back at them, grinning as he looks at alex.

'that boy has fallen for you hard alex. now, i don't know what you're both like together but i can simply tell by the way he looks at you. there's so much love in his eyes, and the way he smiles when he's around you. honestly please alex, don't break his heart. i know you love him too but you're still figuring yourself out.'

'for now, don't worry about it, just enjoy your time here and maybe you can talk to him when you get back to norway.' she says with a smile.

'thank you grandma, i really needed that.' she says giving her a hug.

'it's no problem my dear. look after him my dear, he's a keeper.'

after sunbathing by the pool for an hour, alex has decided to go to their hotel room to get dressed for their dinner they have booked in a restaurant by malibu beach.

as she opens the hotel room, she heard chris talking on the phone in the bedroom, talking in norwegian to someone.

'the bet is off elias.' he says. alex rests her head against the door.

'yes i know i didn't sleep with her but i got her to fall in love with me didn't i?' he says making alex gasp put quickly putting her hand over her mouth.

'setting up jonas was the best thing we could do. she hates his guts now.' he says, tears start streaming down her face

'i fell in love with her man, that's why it's off.' he says but alex bursts in the room.

'you better be fucking kidding?' she says.

'alex?' he says surprised quickly hanging up the phone.

'this entire time, i was a stupid bet?' she says tears pouring down her face.

'no alex let me explain!'

'there is nothing to explain chris! i can't believe you, i honestly can't.' she says pacing up and down the room.

she takes deep breaths, alex doesn't like fighting with anyone. she always tries to be strong but she's struggling.

she walks up to chris, looking him dead in the eyes.

'i honestly can't believe you. those speeches about me, how i was the best thing that's ever happened to you. that was all a fucking joke?' she says angrily.

'baby-'

'don't you fucking baby me. i am not your baby, i am nothing to you chris schistad. i want you out of my life forever.' she says, those words hit chris like a brick. he doesn't say or do anything because she has every right to be angry.

'i can't believe i actually ended up falling for you.' she says before leaving their hotel room.

she walks down the hallway, bumping into her grandparents.

'alex?' they both say as she walks past them.

'alex!' they say calling after her as she goes into the elevator.

chris walks towards them, with a tear stained face.

'chris, did you guys fight?' asks cecilia and he nods.

'it's all my fault.'
