Chapter five(:

I woke up early the next morning. I was still on her couch and she must have went up to her to her room. I looked around to see if anyone was down here with me. I heard people talking in the kitchen, but i didn't know who or what they were talking about. I got up slowly and quietly. I peered into the kitchen and it was just her older brother talking to her younger brother. Thank god! I tried to sneak up to Ry's room, but they must have caught me.

"Goodmorning sleeping beauty!" Nicholus said.

I rolled my eyes and went up to Ry's room. I found my phone on her night stand, and I had 13 missed calls. Twelve were from Chris, and the other one was from Derek. I listened to all of my voice mails. Chris apologized in the last one for calling me so many times. Derek didn't leave a voice mail. It made me wonder what was wrong. I decided I was going to call him. I picked up my phone and lazily dialed his number. He didn't answer and I didn't bother to leave a voice mail. I then decided to return all of Chris' calls. I dialed his number and he answered on the second ring. He must have been waiting for me to call him or something.

"Hey Jocelyn!"

"Hey Chris!"

"I see that you got my calls.."

"Yeah..haha."

"So, did you have fun last night?"

"Yeah, I really liked getting to know you"

"Good, me too. Hey i was wondering. Do you think we could do something like that again?"

"Yeah sure of course!"

"Awesome. How does today sound."

"Sounds great. What and or where are we going?"

"How about the movies?"

"Sound fun. Is Riley coming too?"

"Well, I would kind of like it if it was just us."

"That's good.What time am I meeting you?"

"How about six."

"Alright. Well, I have to go."

"Bye Jocelyn."

I hung up the phone. My heart was racing so fast. Just then, my phone rang again. It was Derek. I picked up the phone not sure what I was going to hear."Hello?"

"Hey Jocelyn."

"What's up?"

"Nothing. Just sitting here."

"Sounds fun."

"Oh it is!"

"You called me?"

"Yeah. I wanted to know how your day went."

"It was really good. I went out to eat and the Lumis."

I didn't want to tell him that I went out with another man. I didn't want to upset him.

"That's cool."

I didn't say anything, so he continued.

"So I was thinking."

"Yes?"

"Do you think that maybe we could go out on a date tonight?"

"Oh, sorry. I kind of already made plans tonight."

If I learned anything from my parents it was don't try to lead two guys on at the same time.

"Oh,alright then."

"I'm sorry maybe some other time."

"It's alright. Bye Jocelyn."

I hung up the phone. I looked at the clock on Ry's night stand and it said 2:15 p.m. I got a towel out of her closet, and went to go take a shower. I climbed in and took my good ole time. I got out of the shower at 2:45. I put my towel on, and went into Ry's room. I went into her closet and pulled out some clothes. At first I pulled out dark blue skinny jeans, a white v-neck, and black ballet flats. I decided I didnt want to wear that. I pulled out a cute day dress instead. It was brown, and hung off of the shoulders. It had flowers all over it. I got out the brown ankle boots, and got dressed. I blow dried my hair, and decided not to curl it this time. I left it go kind of wavy . I started with my makeup. I put on a light brown eyeshadow and black eyeliner and mascara. I put on a light pink blush and lipstick. I grabbed my keys off of her nightstand and was ready to go. I looked at the time and it was exactly five. I went downstairs and saw both of her brothers staring at me with their mouths open. I decided to make a snude remark and said,"You know, with yours mouths open like that you ought to catch a fly or something." They closed their mouths immediately and went back onto their conversation.

I walked out the door, and into my car. By the time I got into my car, it was 5:30. Perfect! I started to drive and i finally reached my destination. I walked up to the movie theater and waited till I saw Chris.
