Chapter23(:

When Derek and I woke up the next morning we both got ready for work we left a little bit early so he could drop me off at work and then after i got off my job was right by my apatment so i would go and get my ar. we planned on meeting back at his apartment so we could go to my parents house together. i was very excited to tell my parents about Derek and I getting back together. i hope that they are ok with it but you never know with them. Derek dropped me off at work and i rweally didnt want to go i just wanted to go back to the house and stay in bed all day wih him but we both need to go to work. i need to just keep telling myself that im going to see him when i get off im going to be with him all the rest of the day andwe both have tomarrow off so i can just look forward to then.

"hey Jocelyn how have you been" ask my boss.

"i've been doing good how have you been with the new babys here?"

"ohh well they have been great im just excited to get back to work and out of the hoouse for awhile"

"well we are all ahppy thay your back now we dont have to deal with bitchy tina!" tina is the co manger so if 'susan' the big boos needs off she goes in charge and we all ah5te her!" 

"well im backa nd shes not going to be i charge for awhile acually talking about that i need to speak to you about something" 

"ok what would that be?"

"well ive got alot of complants about tina and we have been looking for someone to replace her and i know this isnt what you volentered for when you where hired but we would like to know if you would like her job?"

"are you serius right now?"

"i am" 

"i would love to have her job thank you so much" 

"dont thank me your the one that has shown thaT your right for the job" 

with thaty she showed me to my new office and told me that i can decorate it any way i like and they are willing to work with my schooling and what ever still. i was so excited to get off and tell Derek alla out everything that happened to me today. the day went by so fast and i ran right over to ym apartment and got my car. i speeded all the way to Derweks house bcause i knew he would be there waiting there for me.i ran right in the house and ran right into Derek making us both fall oto the couch

"well your either excited about something or scared could you plz tell me whats going on" 

"i got a promaotion today" 

"really thats great baby" 

"thank you you are now looking at the co manger" 

"wow thats awewsome maybe we should invite your parents out to celebrate after we visit with your" 

"i think that is a very good idea" 

"ok ill call them on the way to your parents house whitch by the way we should really get ready to go there" 

"but why im having so much fun just laying here on you" 

"well i am to but we really need to go" 

"yeah I know lets go" 

we stold up and walked hand and hand over to him truck because his car broke,. he ehlped me up in cause he knows how bad i hate the car. we drove down the rode about 15minets down the rode. the whole car ride there we held hands and talked and joke around me and Derek alweays got along very well

whenwe got to my parents house Derek walked over to my side of the car and help me out. we walked up to the front porch and he opened the door for me to walk in first when we walked in all i could see was m6y aprents sitting on the couch cring and I right away knew what was going on my test resulting came in.

"Jocelyn we're so sorry" my mom and dad kept telling me

Derek looked over at me with the very pained face

"Jocelyn whats going on what is wrong" 

"mom me and Derek are back together and i can't tell him will you plz explain to him

"jocelyn was in a car accident afew years ago and they had to start doing alot of test on herthey found a ddark spot before school let out and they have been runnong test on it and the test result just came back in Jocelyn has Cancer" my momm started crying really hard and then i hit the floor just cring Derek came rushing over to me he wanted to cry but was staying strong for me telling me everything was going to be ok he was going to be here for me he wasnt goign anywhere. once he got me a little calmed down he sent is parents atxt and told then there was an eergancey he would explan whne he could not to worry.

my parent Derek and i all got calmed down and sta down to talk my mom told us what the doctor had told her on the phone she said it wasnt bad yet but if we didnt start treating it now it wouold spred

"mom what k9ind of treatment dose he ant me to go throught i mean am i going to like lose all ymhair" 

"no not by the sounds of it but it is still aposablity" 

"mom how am i going to keep working ad stuff" 

"Jocelyn dont worry about working i can take care of it if you have to we will move you in with me permanetly" Derek said

"and Jocelyn you know mr and your afther alredy said we would take care of what ever you neede" 

"yeah i know but i dot want everyone takiong care of me all the time" 

"how about this babe ill talk to your work with your mom and we can see about having you work like once a week and ill always make shore you ahve somwhere to sleep and eat"mom then cut him off

"your father and i will pay for all your medical bills and then you can just give us what ever you want but we most likly wont take it" 

"id ont want everyone taking care of me" 

"sweet heart you found someone who is willign to take care of you that si your age" 

"yeah acually we wanted to talk to you about that Derek ist my age" 

"oh is he like a year older than you" 

"no not quit" 

"well how much older than you is he?" 

"well he is acually 24" 

"hes what!" my dad just aboput flipped off the chair

"what do you mean hes 24" my mom asked 

"you see thats whywe broke up on the first place because i forgot to mention i was only 7 but then we relized we cant live without each other and i live on my own now so i make my own choices and well we make each toher happy" 

"Jocelyn qwe are very upset you didnt tell us his age sooner but we suport whatever you want the important ting right now is youir health now you should be egtting home to get some rest your first doctors apointment is tomarrow mornign at 8 i'll pick you up and we can all go together your father really wants to go but cant egt off work if Derek dosn have to work and would like to coe he can" 

"okt habk you mom see you in the morning" 

me and Derek got everything toegther and left whne we got to the car i astarted crying again and he just held me and told me everything was going to be alright and then we drove home dredign what tomarrow was goig to bring
