Life As We Know It

Chapter 32(:

                                                                 6 MONTHS LATER

I was less than two week away from my wedding day and less than a month away from my due date! my life has been a little bit crazy lately between getting ready for the wedding and the baby to come. my mom and i worked out everything we had going on and she came to terms i was having this baby and it might be my only chance to have this baby. My mom Ry and i had all gone dress shopping a few months ago and we all had to go in today to do one last fitting to make sure the dress would work because I'm pregnant and abnormally bigger than most women only caring one baby. We made it to the dress shop and had everything fitted and it all worked we went and did a few last second wedding things before i had to go in for my check up. Ry wanted to come with Derek and i so we went to my house to get him. When we walk din Derek was no where to be found.

"Derek where are you we have to get ready to go."

"i'm in the baby's room sweetie."

i walked back to the baby's room and he was standing over the crib just looking into it. i walked over to him and he put me in front of him and held me around my waist.

"just think about it in less than a month we are going to have a baby laying in there."

"yes we are and i can't wait!"

"Neither can i."

I turned around and Derek kissed me for a few more seconds but then we had to get ready to go. Up until this point Derek and i didn't want to know the sex of the baby but we talked last night and we decided to find out and let everyone know before the baby shower in a few days. As we made it to the doctors office i started to get really excited and so did everyone else. when we finally got to the doctors office we all started to get excited. I explained to Ry what was going to go on in the room. as the doctor took me back to the room both Derek and Ry waited outside just a few seconds and then when i was changed into the gowned they came into the room. The doctor got everything set up and then looked at Derek and I.

"so are we finding out the sex of the baby today or would we still like it to be unknown?"

"No we want to find out the sex of the baby today."

"OK then lets get started."

She starts to move the thing around on my belly until something a little weird happened we didn't just hear one heart beat we hurt two i sat up looking very confused.

"ok is it normal two be hearing that or is there more than one baby in my belly?"

"Jocelyn Derek congratulations you having twins!!!"

i started to cry right away a few ideas as far as i knew i was in a high risks just tyring to have at least one of my own baby's and now I'm finding out om not just going to have one baby but I'm going to have two! My mined is just spinning there are just so many things going through my mined right now i didn't even notice Derek hugging me at first once we all get calmed down we all looked at the doctor to wait and tell us what we're going to have.

"OK so I'm going to circle the little spot to look at on the screen and let you all take your best guest before i actually tell you." she circled the places and everyone looked at then Ry guested two girls Derek said it was Two boys but i knew they where both wrong and i knew exactly what both my baby's would be the baby closer the left hand pointed to "This is my little baby boy." I pointed to the baby to the right hand side "and this this is my little baby girl!"

I looked at the doctor for her to tell me i was wrong or right. the doctor smiled at me with this big smile.

"Jocelyn you are exactly right congrats you to you are having a little baby boy and little girl you are truly one of the most blessed people i had met but with having twins and you know your risk of pregnancy with just one baby but now we know there are two baby just increasing the risk and before i only knew there was a girl but this is a little more alarming so i am going to have to run a few test on you to make sure both babies are safe and healthy and i want to see you in here more often we are putting up a red flag on this pregnancy you really need to taking it easy."

"I'm going to be getting married in less than two weeks what do i do about that?"

"well if you don't mined i could come and keep and eye on you."

"honestly i would love that i want to invited you anyhow so this will be perfect thank you much Dr!!!!!"

"It's no problem at all!!!!"

we ran all the test that the doctor want to run and everything came back fine but she still wanted to keep and eye on me and the baby's. I'm so excited to tell everyone that i am not only going to be having one baby but two babies of my very own.

Derek drove me home, and I called Ry.

"Riley!" I said

"Jocelyn!" she said

"Guess what!"

"What?!"

"I'm having twins!"

"Shut up!"

"No joke!!"

"Oh my gosh!!!"

"So now you are going to have two god children!"

"Do you know what these children are!"

"We are having a little girl, and boy!"

"Oh my gosh! I am so excited you have no idea! What are you going to name them?"

"We aren't sure yet, but if you have any ideas, let me know!"

"Okay!"

"Well, I'm ganna call my parents and let them know!"

"Okay, I will text you any names that I like."

"Thanks love you."

"Love you too."

I hung up the phone, and dialed my mom's number. I wanted her to pick up, but I wasn't sure if I wanted her to.

"Hello?" my mom said.

"Hey mom." I said

"Hey sweetie how are doing?"

"Reallly  good."

"How is the baby doing?"

"Well that's why I called you."

"Is everything okay?"

"Yep!"

"Okay, so what about it."

"I'm having twins."

" Well congradulations, but this is very dangerous, you know that."

"Yes mom I know."

"I'm just telling you."

"I know."

"Are you going to be okay for the wedding."

"Yep, the doctor will be there so we are all good."

"Okay good."

"Well relay the news to dad okay?"

"I will."

"Okay, love you."

"Love you too."

I hung up the phone, and looked at Derek.

"Are you sure you want to go through with the wedding. We can always wait till after the twins are born." he says.

"Yes I'm sure. What's the worst that is going to happen? My waterbreak in the  middle of our vowels?" I giggled.

" You never know, that could happen!"

"Yeah, but it won't"

"Let's hope not."

I nodded in agreement.

NOTE: BABIES ROOM ON THE SIDE IS AT JOCELYN AND DEREK'S HOUSE!
