"Alex, come on man. If you do not hurry, then how is anyone going to respect you? Get our lazy butt down here. Oh, and if you do not, then I will eat eveything" It is seriously like he is an alarm clock. Man I hate being told what to do. Especially from Mark.
Hello. My name is Alex. You may think that the world is like any other one. People come and go. Everyone dies. It's the circle of life. Well, it is all a lie. Everything you have ever known is about to change.
This world is not like any other. This world is dark and cruel. I am a werewolf. Yes, a werewolf. Go ahead, run. Run and do not stop. Run until your feet are sore. The thing is, you will never get away from any of it. We are everywhere. I am not the only werewolf. In fact. I am the werewolf. That's right. I am alpha. Alpha of the Red Moon Pack.
I am 18 years old and I still have not found my mate yet. I have not exactly been searching for her. I think she will show up when the time is right. Right now I have to worry about my pack. My pack is one of the best packs in the U.S. My beta, Mark, is one of the people that helped me get my pack tp where it is now. My father made the pack strong. But I made it stronger. My father died last year, and that is why I am alpha now. My father wanted me to wait till I found my mate. That never happened.
I have a feeling she is out there though. She will turn up, and I already know she will be the best Luna ever.
I woke up and went straight to the shower. Nothing better than feeling clean. Even though I am part wolf, and apparently they hate the be clean. I on the other hand love being clean. I also sing in the shower. I would say that I have a pretty good voice. I sang my favorite song, Doin' What She Likes by Blake Shelton. Yes I am into country. The song will one day be dedicated to my future Luna. I have a feeling she will love the song.
After the shwer I made my way to the kitchen only to find Mark stuffing his face. The tipical Mark.
"Wow Mark, did you at least leave my anything to eat?"
"Yeah man, I think there is cereral in the cabinet," he said with a smile in his face.
"Oh yeah, an amazing breakfast for the alpha. Thanks man."
He looks at me with a mean face. He hates it when I use the whole alpha thing as an excuse to get anything I want.
"I am just kidding man. I will have cereal," I said. My wolf, Philip, started to give me crap about it.
"You need to start getting up earlier so that we can have a proper breakfast. Come on, this is the fourth time this happpened."
Philip is right. I usually do go to sleep pretty late. I look at the clock and see that it is already 12 o'clock. Next think I know, I hear footstep on the stairs. I see a girl come into the kitchen. She is wearing nothing but a shirt and some underwear. I look at Mark and he starts smiling.
"Hey there beautiful," Mark said to the very strange girl.
"Hey there babe. You should have woke me up. I could have made breakfast for you two."
I cleared my throat so that they can remember I am still in the room. I would not want them to start making out or something. They both look at me then I see the girl start turning red. Mark goes to her and puts a hand on her waist.
"Hey man, meet my mate."
My mouth dropped open at that very second. Mate? He already found his mate? How could he have found his mate before me?
"Hi. My name is Kathy. It is really nice to finally meet the alpha of the pack." I see her hold out her habd so I shake it. I smile at her and then look at Mark. He is gesturing me to get out of the room.
"Well alright, I am gonna go. Mark is telling me to get out. See ya." I look at Mark who now has a very mad look. I laugh, finish making my breakfast, then get out of the room. This is going to be very interesting. I made my way upstairs after eating and see my third in command, Daniel, coming out of his room. He is wearing nothing but boxers. The smiley face ones to be exact. I laugh then go to my room. I put in my earphones then take a nap. Did I mention I also love my sleep.
All I dreamed about was her.
