Chapter 19-Jake, Mike, Taylor and Alex

JAKE'S P.O.V.

Taylor missing has been hard on all of us, especially Alex.  He did nothing but mope around the house.  He started getting bags under his eyes after a couple of days.  I was not in the best state either but luckly Tiffany was by my side the whole time.  She has been amazing through it all.  I could not have asked for a better mate.  She is truly the light of my world.

When I found out Taylor was back, I felt all the weight that was on me be releaved.  I could finally relax, knowing that she is safe.  I love my sister and would do anything for her.  The night Taylor came back was the night I marked Tiffany.  I wanted to do it the day we met, but it was bad timing.  She lost her brother and not long after my sister disappeared for a month.  I will never forgive myself for not finding her.  She is the only sister I have.

She reminds me so much of mother.  I cannot lose her.  She is the only thing I have left that reminds me of my mother and just having Taylor around makes everything seem better.  It seems like anything is possible with her.

When Alex told us about how she was plotting revenge, I could not believe my eyes.  My sister, plotting to kill someone?  That is so not like her.  Mike was shocked too.  He could not believe it as much as me.  I felt bad because me and MIke both had our mates and Alex did not.  I felt worse that Steve never got to meet his mate.  It made everything seem worse.  We ended up finding out who she is, well who she would have been.

Her name is Eve.  She was a pretty girl.  Steve would have loved her.  Eve was in great moarning when Steve passed away.  She was planning on telling him or confronting him on his birthday, which is a week away.  it would have been the best day of his life.

I need to stop thinking about him. He was a great friend though.  He will be missed.  Man, if I do not stop thinking about him, then I will soon plot revenge against his killer.

MIKE'S P.O.V.

Taylor is finally back.  I can finally sleep knowing that my little sister is okay.  She is on the arms of Alex so I know that she will be protected.  I snuggled up next to my beautiful mate.  She found out she was pregnant.  I am the happiest man alive.  I think she is only a couple of weeks.  We are planning on telling the pack at the Alpha and Beta ceromony.  The ceromony that declares me alpha, Emily Luna, and Jake Beta, along with his mate Tiffany, as Beta's wife.  I decided to make Hayden, an old friend from high school, third in command.  He has a mate named Kayla, I think. Since he was a good friend and a good fighter. His father is a warrior so he should be a good fighter too.

When I found out Emily was pregnant, I would not let her leave my sight.  I could tell she was nervous to tell me though.  

~Flashback~

I was sitting at the table in the kitchen looking at a map.  I was going over places we have searched and did not search for Taylor.  She seems to be no where.  Emily walks into the kitchen looking scared or nervous.  I could not tell.  She sits down at the table.

"I have something to tell you," she whispers.

"What is it?"

"I do not know how you are going to take it.  Just remember I love you.  I just hope that you feel the same way about this as I do." I could see tears in her eyes.

"Honey, I love you too.  What is it?  What has got you all upset?"

"I am...."

"You are what."

"Pre......"

"What?"

She takes a deep breathe.  "I am pregnat."  For I second I did not believe my ears.  Did she seriously say she was pregnat?
