Dan was talking to Louise, she was the schools anatomy teacher and also the nicest woman he'd ever met.
"Is that strawberry chapstick?" Louise asked with a chuckle.
Dan nodded, "what's funny? My lips are dry".
Louise just shook her head, "can I use it for a second?"
Dan handed it over, looking around the near empty halls. He was so happy he had the same free period as Louise, most teachers didn't understand his humour and would paint him as a weird guy, Louise didn't though, that's why they were such great friends.
Louise gave the chapstick back and opened her mouth to say something but she got interrupted. Dan frowned, it was a student, he knew he had just lost Louise for the rest of his break.
"Excuse me, miss Pentland? You said I should look you up after class if I had any questions". The brown haired girl said.
Louise smiled and waved Dan goodbye as she led her and the student to a quieter and more private space. Dan decided he'd go back to the theatre class and perhaps play some piano.
As he finished playing 'für Elise' he heard clapping at the door. He looked over and saw Phil standing there.
"Dork", he yelled.
Phil chuckled and sat down next to him, "seriously though, that was great".
"Oh please", Dan said, "you don't mean that".
"You don't believe me?" Phil asked, faking being offended.
"As a matter of fact, I don't", Dan answered.
"You should hear me play it", He said.
"No, you'll break it 100%".
"I thought you trusted me", Phil said with a hand over his heart.
"Not with this beauty", he said, swiping his hand over the piano in front of him.
Someone wolf-whistled at the door and both their heads quickly turned, as if someone caught them doing something illegal.
"Allison?" Dan asked, "did you need something".
"I'm having trouble practising my lines sir, but if I'm interrupting, by all means, kick me out". The blonde girl answered.
"No, no, come in", Dan said.
"Should I leave?" Phil asked unsure, he'd always wanted to see Dan acting.
Dan looked at Allison who shook her head. "That's alright, you can stay".
Phil smiled and sat back, watching Dan get into his persona.
Slowly the class started filling up again, Phil waved at Dan and left to go to his own lesson. Dan just finished his scene and silenced his students before starting his lesson.

"Sir, where were you?" One of the girls asked.
"I had to speak mr Howell for a second", Phil answered
Several students smirked and Phil rolled his eyes. "Turn your books to page 239 please", he said, and with that the lesson started.

"And gladly shunn'd who gladly flee from me".
"Stop!" Dan yelled. "It's fled, not flee".
Nicky groaned but returned to his initial position.
"Come on guys, you know how much I hate this play, please get it right so we can get it over with".
"I still don't understand how you could hate 'Romeo and Juliet", Michael said.
"We've had this conversation before, come on now".
"It's because Mr. Howell can't find a Romeo", Isak joked.
"Really?" Allison asked, "cause it looked like he did half an hour ago".
Everyone looked at her.
"He was mindlessly flirting with mr. Lester", she giggled.
"I did not!" Dan said defensively.
"So did", Allison responded as she crossed her arms.
"What's it with you guys' weird obsession with mr. Lester and I?" Dan asked.
"We see how you all act around each other", Kevin shrugged.
Dan blushed, "let's just go on".
