After exactly two days, the gang of robbers who were after Sakura and her mother had finally been caught by the hands of Sumiko and Mei. Sakura has never felt more relieved and she couldn't thank them enough.
A week later, the gang had dinner in Sakura's home with her mother, just as they promised they would.
And a week after that, Mei and Sumiko were granted two weeks holiday from the Police Department as thanks for their hard work and effort - And how were they going to spend it?
They were going on a vacation with the Kenshin gang.
They were going to Izu to spend their vacation there along with Megumi, Tae and Tsubame. The group of eight had already left early in the morning and got a move on, since it was quite far.
"Kyaaa, I'm so excited!" Sumiko exclaimed as she inhaled the fresh air. Mei let out a long sigh, for the heat of the sun was making her thirsty, "I'm excited to drink water, it's so hot!" She exclaimed.
"I know! I can't believe you finished the water, Yahiko! So inconsiderate!" Kaoru exclaimed and smacked the boy's head.
"Hey! You guys said you didn't want any!" The boy pouted, "We were being nice! You're supposed to save for us anyway!" The sapphire-eyed girl let out a sigh and walked away from him.
"I don't wanna walk next to ya anyway!" Yahiko spat, "Just shut up, man. Talking makes you more thirsty..." Sanosuke said as he lazily walked, "We better get there soon or else we'll all die of dehydration!" Megumi exclaimed.
"I think 'Dying' is an exaggeration, Megumi." Mei laughed softly as she adjusted the arm guards on her arms, "We're almost there, that we are." Kenshin smiles softly and points his index finger forwards.
"Great! All we have to do is find an Inn to stay then we're all set!" Kaoru exclaims.
And after 2 hours of walking, the gang reached their desired location and smiled, their level of excitement rising. "Oh my god! Look at this view!" Mei exclaimed. Her eyes travelled all over the green scenery, causing her to smile widely.
"Looks like someone's one with nature..." Sanosuke snickered, "It's seems like it, that it does." Kenshin smiled at Mei's excitement and joy.
"Well, let's get going!" Tae exclaimed happily, earning nods from everyone.

"Alright, some of us will have to share." Mei smiled at the gang as she looked at the numbers of their rooms, "Really? How come?"
"Okay first of all; I did say I was paying, but that's doesn't mean I have enough money to book Eight rooms!" She whisper yelled. "Oh, right." Kaoru said clumsily.
"How are we sharing? Are you and Kenshin in one room?" Sumiko smirked, "Haaaa!? NO! We are not!" Mei exclaimed, a blush appearing on her face.
"Oro?"
"All the girls in one room and all the boys in one room - That's how we're doing it!" She said and walked away.
