For 3 weeks, Mei and Sumiko have been visiting the Kāmiya Dojō regularly. Even after work, Mei makes sure she has some time to visit before she heads to HQ - She doesn't want to miss seeing her special someone now, does she?
Mei's working hours were over, and she was now headed towards her flat to change her kimono. Upon arriving, Mei dashed to her wardrobe and quickly picked a bright coloured piece of clothing.
"Just you wait, Kenshin. You're going to remember me in no time!" She said to herself, smiling proudly before leaving her home.

"I brushed against those freckles that I hated so, life goes on and I heave a little sigh for you." Mei sung softly as she reached the gates of the Kamiya Dojō. "Hello everyone!" She brightly smiled as she waved her hand to the gang.
In sight were Kaoru, Sanosuke, Yahiko, Sumiko and last but not least - Kenshin. "Hey! You're late!" Sanosuke exclaimed as he stomped in front of her and crossed his arms, "Ahoho, why so upset, Sano?"
She asked as she playfully crossed her arms under her chest. Sanosuke let out a frustrated sigh as he tapped his foot on the floor, "You know..!" He gritted his teeth.
"You guys a 'Thing' or somethin'?" Asked Yahiko. Mei and Sanosuke looked at him with a disgusted expression and rolled their eyes, "Of course not. Me and Mei are like brother and sister; Sparing partners! Right Mei?"
Sanosuke said as he wrapped his arm around Mei's shoulder, "Of course, It's strange of you to even think such a thing." She nodded her head. Kenshin and Sumiko laughed as they sipped their tea and watched the three in amusement.
"Oh, Mei. You're so silly." Kaoru said as she laughed. "Ah, we're late for making lunch, aren't we?" Kenshin said as he tapped his chin with his finger. "Oh! We should get going!" Sumiko exclaimed and dashed to the kitchen.
"Hey Mei, by the way we got longer hours tonight at the Department!" She said and ran away from sight. Kenshin let out a low chuckle as he got up and followed her, "A silly girl, that she is." He smiled before walking away.
Mei watched as he walked away, smiling as she remembered the time when they knew each other. 'Oh Kenshin...you'll remember me, won't you?' She thought, suddenly frowning. "Are you alright Mei-san?" Kaoru asked, witnessing the sudden change of her mood.
"...Yeah, I'm okay." She smiled at her and began walking away with Sanosuke. "See ya later, alligator." Sanosuke waved his hand and followed Mei.
"So, you said that your techniques were easy to learn, right?" Sanosuke's voice was heard faintly as the two disappeared from their sight.
"Man, I'm alone with ugly now..." Yahiko sighed with frustration. In the background, Kaoru's face reddened with rage as she pulled Yahiko's ear, "Listen up! You better watch your attitude or I'm making you clean THE WHOLE Dojo all by yourself! Got that!?" Kaoru exclaimed.
"Why does your voice have to be so loud!? Do all ugly girls have that trait!?" Yahiko growled.
"Take that back, Yahiko!"
And so, their argument commenced for long, dreadful hours.
