Finding Dad

The Crash

Jonas woke up with in a panic. He looked around his dad's small convertible he saw his sister and dad it was raining thunder was probably what caused his nightmare. His sister woke up and asked if they where almost home. But from the looks of outside Jonas could see that they where nowhere near home.

 "Dad where are we?" Jonas asked. He tried to read the road signs but the rain was to thick and it was too dark. There was not a traffic light anywhere and the road was very unfamiliar. 

"It's okay Victoria I take this way all the time." Dad reassured them, but Jonas knew his dad never took this way. Jonas had been living with this dad for three years now and never had they driven this way. 

"Dad are you okay?" 

"I'm fine Jonas now just sit back and be quite like a good boy!" dad took one of his hands off the steering wheel to push Jonas into his seat. Jonas tried to fall back asleep but as soon as sleep came he heard his sister scream and felt complete weightlessness then otter shock and fear.

His brain told him to do something but his body didn't move. He opened his eyes and saw it was morning he heard a buzzing noise in his ear. He didn't know what was happening and couldn't comprehend the slightest things. He realized he was no longer in a car but in a grassy meadow he. 

"Where am I? Hello is anyone there?" Jonas was very scared now he tried to walk but it was like his legs where glued to the ground. Jonas heard a small whisper he looked around and didn't see anyone.

"Jonas wake up." the whisper grew louder and the world became fuzzy. Jonas tried to grab the grass but it was like a hologram and with every reach more grass disappeared until he was in a dark world then he was in a small room.

"Jonas tell me when you can hear me." 

Jonas nodded and saw a bright light shine across his eyes. 

"What happened? Who are you?" he started to see a woman in front of him. She looked young and was in a nurses uniform. Jonas looked around and saw he was in a hospital room. His leg was in a cast and so was his arm his head was spinning and hurt.

"Your father Blake King crashed your car into a tree after he lost control of the wheel and drove down a muddy hill off the highway. You're in the Royal Victoria Hospital in Vancouver, Canada." The nurse spoke to Jonas slowly and as if he was a small child. Then it felt like someone had just electrocuted him because as soon as the name Victoria processed he started to panic.

"My sister Victoria King she was with me where is she now?" Jonas started to look around in a panic he didn't know where to look. The nurse took Jonas's hand and looked down.

"Jonas you're sister she was in a very poor state of health. She unfortunately fell into a coma." 

Jonas leaned over the side of his bed and vomited. His head continued to spin his whole body went numb. He just stared dumbstruck at the nurse waiting for him to wake up this had to be another nightmare it couldn't be real. He looked up and saw a small bed beside his there was a small body on the surface of it all around the body was machines and some doctors. Jonas tried to get out of bed but the nurse pinned him down.

"Let me go! I need to she my sister!" Jonas was squirming and trying to fight back but his body was to weak.

"You can't leave Jonas! You have to rest." The nurse got Jonas to calm down and started to cry. He felt a sharp stab in his good arm then the room went black again.
