Jonas pushed passed the group of people that awaited for their room keys. With his jaw set and fists clenched he stormed up to the pudgy red faced manager.
"Where is he?" He demanded slamming his fists against the oak desk. The manager fumbled around with collecting fallen pens and pencils, angering Jonas.
"Hey cool it kid, I was here first." a tanned muscular older man stood behind Jonas. He rolled his eyes and casually laid his arm around the skinny beach blonde beside him.
Jonas became overwhelmed with anger and punched the stranger in the face causing his blonde friend to fall to her knees cradling him. "Oh Tanner! Hey you get back here!" she yelled after Jonas as he ran for the manager. This time the door would not slam in his face and this time he would get the answers he needed.
"Get back here!" Jonas screamed at the manager as he hobbled towards the backdoor into the room marked private. Jonas caught the door just as it was about to close. The puffy red cheeked manager sat down wheezing and coughing away.
"You really scared me Mr. King!" he wiggled a sausage like finger at Jonas.
"What do you mean?" Jonas looked around the small office. There was a small oak wood desk along with various pictures of employes. Jonas sat down in a plush green striped chair in front of the man's desk.
"I mean last time I saw you, you sir were just a tiny little boy." the manager, whom's name was actually Mr. Hamilton as Jonas could see from his desk plate, gave him a jolly smile.
"What are you talking about crazy man?"
"Ah, and you're feisty just like your dear mother!" he released a hearty laugh then smacked the desk.
"Name's Oliver Hamilton but you can call me Olli most people do!" Oliver extended his hand over the desk for Jonas to shake.
"Um Jonas King, how do you know me?" Jonas asked as he shook Olli's sweaty hand.
"Well you see Jo your parents and I go way back. I heard about your sister or the Kevin incident as we call it. I also have some information about your Dad, very useful information." Oliver stood up to look out the only window in the room.
"You do?!" Jonas stood up in disbelief. But then again his whole life now felt like disbelief.
"Yep, he's right behind you."
