Lily ran into the room with the phone in her hand. Jonas sat on the cold tile floor still shaken up from what Kevin had said.

"Jonas? What happened I heard yelling then slamming and... I was gonna call the police. Are you okay?" she bent down to face him placing the phone on the ground. Lily stared into Jonas's once bright blue eyes now only a faded gray.

"I'm okay just stunned, I guess..." Jonas's voice started to trail off as he carried on.

"No you're not, come on let's go Kevin is not what I expected him to be. Plus you still have that riddle from your dad that you need to figure out." Lily grabbed Jonas's trembling hand to help pull him up off the creaking hard wood floor.

"What did the riddle say anyways?" she asked while brushing small white pieces of dust off her loose dark blue jeans. Jonas, whom was still shaken up from Kevin's words, stared at the picture of his dearly beloved mother. He took small careful steps towards the picture that presented a cluster of high schoolers. He grazed all of the faces that presented themselves to him. Then he saw a young happy beautiful blonde that wore a red and yellow cheerleading uniform, that young woman was his mother. Beside her was a skinny awkward looking boy who wore a white button up shirt and black dress pants. His auburn hair was oil slicked back and his hazel eyes were framed behind huge black times glasses.

Jonas took the photo carefully out of the frame not wanting to damage it. The names of all the students were written in faded blue pen. 'Middle row from left to right; Teddy Johns, Blake King, Me-' Jonas stopped reading after the word me and flipped the picture around so hd could look at the bright faces again. This was Kevin's copy so the word me must have meant that the average looking guy beside Blake was a younger version of Kevin. In the picture Kevin was looking at Teddy instead of the camera. Something he either planed very carefully or something that happened on accident. You could see the love and affection in his looking eyes that almost seemed to say "I love you."

"Jonas! Hello?" Lily shook Jonas's shoulder trying to get him out of his daze.

"Why did he have to kill her?! Why didn't he just leave her alone?! Why didn't he just leave me alone?" Jonas yelled at his partner as he ripped her hand off his shoulder.

"What? Someone was murdered? Who?" Lily looked him straight in the eye fear trickled down her spine.

"Kevin! Kevin murdered her, Kevin got her knocked up, Kevin ruined me and my mother's lives!" Jonas's eyes became narrow he clenched up his fists and walked towards the door mumbling the name Kevin, the name that got louder with each growing step. Lily ran in front of him trying to stop him from hurting Kevin. Then the sweet sung tune of the lullaby came to ear. Jonas blinked rapidly then started to laugh which was enough to frighten any sane human being.

"Is this some sort of joke mom? What now?" Jonas yelled at the celling.

"Jonas look in the back... listen to your father's note." the lullaby turned into Teddy's calming words. Jonas just nodded and then reached to grab Lily's hand.

"Jonas where are we going? Jonas!" Lily pulled against Jonas's grip but it just grew tighter.

"The hotel."
