Jonas walked into a restaurant the watch around his wrist. The small restaurant was almost empty the only people there were old fishermen and drunks.

"Table for one I'm guessing." A old bearded man escorted Jonas to a small table.

"Here's the menu and waitress will be over in a minute." The old man handed Jonas a small booklet. The old man walked away with a limp and a scowl on his wrinkled face.

"Good morning welcome to Salty's I'll be your waitress this evening my name's Skipper." Skipper started writing something on a notepad not looking up at Jonas.

"I'll have a coke please."

"Excellent choice!" Skipper finally looked up and her eyes met Jonas.

"Oh my God Jonas! I thought you were dead!" Skipper hugged Jonas and he just gave her a strange look.

"My name isn't really Skipper that's a fake one so I would get this job it's me Lily!" Jonas saw it now Lily was wearing a long dress to hide her fake leg and she was wearing a blonde wig. Jonas couldn't believe his eyes sure Lily and him had only spoken briefly but to see a familiar face was a relief.

"But how? Why?"

"Well after you left it spread pretty quickly. During work and school your escape was all kids were talking about I got to thinking and me and a couple other girls left. We all share a apartment have jobs it pays when you live on only the bear minimum." Lily sat down and explained.

"But are you happier here living on scraps and sharing a house."

"Apartment actually and I feel better then I have in a long time. Now do you want fries with that coke." Lily stood back up and winked at Jonas he nodded. After fries and a drink Jonas was packing up his things Lily was waiting on a table but tilted her head slightly to the left Jonas took the hint and nodded back.

"Take me with you please!" Lily stood in front of Jonas outside of Salty's.

"I thought you were happy." Jonas asked confused by Lily's responses.

"Happier then I was when I was doing child labor now I need a adventure something to keep me busy." Lily huffed and sat down leaning against the wall of Salty's.

"Look at me when I was little my mom would say Lil when you grow up what do you wanna be? I said a movie star like all my friends. I had dreams prom queen, Oscar nominee, miss popularity. Never did the idea that at fifteen I would be working at a run down seafood reset rant under a fake name with a fake leg."

"Lily if it really means that much you can come." Jonas looked down at Lily she didn't look at him she stared into space and shook her head.

"That's not it though I'm a disappointment to my parents, my friends but most of all to me." Lily pulled out a glass bottle which Jonas didn't realize she was holding. With the flick of the wrist she took a big gulp of whatever was inside.

"You know you're not a disappointment you're just lost. Drinking won't help either." Jonas took the bottle away from Lily.

"I know, but look how can I be happy no one cares for me anymore so why should I?" Lily picked at a loose string on her dress.

"So you want someone to care sign me up." Jonas held his hand out for Lily to take and become his new friend. Lily took it hoping for a new life a way out of the place she had been stuck in ever since her parents died.

"Okay I'll put my trust in you but if you do anything-"

"Lily I won't hurt you I promise I just need someone to keep me company." Jonas let out a silght laugh Lily started for the door to get her things and quit the job that payed her basically nothing.
