Chapter Thirteen

1 WEEK LATER

LILY

"Are you excited to go on the tour bus, Lily?

Mike finishes doing my shoelaces and hands me my panda plushie. I swing my legs and nod.

"I'm a little scared but I have my family. What about Summer and Danielle? They don't like me."

"They won't be joining us for a month if they are ever mean to you then tell one of us okay?"

I nod again, "okay dad."

Mike smiles before picking me up just as Tony walks into the room not just carrying his bags but my smaller ones as well.

"The bus is outside guys, Lily time to start a new adventure."

"Let's go then dad I want to see the bus."

The three of us grab our things and leave the house, Tony locking it behind me and Mike. I gasped upon seeing a big black bus with tinted windows at the end of the drive. Was this going to be my new home?

"Uncle Jaime's inside, go surprise him, Lily."

Mike puts me down and I run down the drive towards the open bus door. Clambering up the rather steep steps I wave at the bus driver who waves back, he then points past him into what looked to be the lounge where Jaime was napping on one of the sofas.

I smirk, creep up next to Jaime, climb onto the sofa without waking him up, and then I jump on top of him.

"WAKE UP UNCLE JAIME! IT'S YOUR FAVOURITE PERSON."

Jaime jolts awake, eyes wide scared out of his mind as I scream in his face before bursting into giggles at his reaction. He sees that it's me and pouts before sitting up so that I was still sat on top of him.

"I'm awake Lily just resting my eyes."

"Your reaction was priceless, so happy I got that on film."

Both Jaime and I turn our heads to see Mike holding up his mobile and smirking at us over the top of the device.

"And you say I'm turning into one of those parents who film everything, Mike."

Tony pats Mike on the back and retreats to what I assumed were the bunk area. I wanted to see where I'd be sleeping so hop off Jaime and follow after Tony still holding panda.

"This is where you'll be sleeping Lily, I'm above you, Jaime's in the bunk next to you, and our photographer Adam who's nice is above Jaime."

I crawl into the bunk and my eyes light up seeing that Tony had picked up my turtle and giraffe along with my favourite blanket.

"Thank you so much, daddy."

"You're welcome panda, now we're going to pick up Uncle Vic."

I decide to stay in my bunk while the bus starts moving. Pulling my colouring book from my backpack I start colouring in a picture of a flower.

~30 Minutes Later~

"Can I join you in your bunk Miss Lily?"

Uncle Jaime pulls back the curtain and without an invitation crawls in next to me.

"What wrong?"

He sighs loudly, "we thought Summer and Danielle weren't joining us for a month, but they've decided since you're on tour that they want to be here as well so when we picked up Vic we also picked up them."

My good mood falters and I cuddle against Jaime, "what if they turn Vic against me again?"

Jaime rubs my back, "none of us like her, just think we'll have All Time Low and Sleeping With Siren's bus to crash on if those two bitches do anything."

We high-five each other just as familiar high-pitched giggling fills the bunk room.

"This is going to be so much fun mum, we're going to make that little girl's life hell. How dare she get dad wrapped around her little finger when he should be paying attention to me his daughter."

Jaime mouths 'oh my god', obviously they didn't think anyone else was back here. I watch Jaime pull out his phone and turns on the recording app just as Danielle pipes up.

"Together we'll come up with a plan to get the little runt out of the frame Summer, Vic will go back to paying us attention. Mike and Tony need a normal kid, someone your age. Now let's unpack and pretend to play happy family with everyone until the times comes for us to make little Lily disappear."

I gasp, but Jaime quickly puts his hand over my mouth to not draw attention to us. He turns off the recording app and opens a new message and types before showing me the screen.

We use this against them when the time comes, catch them in the act. Don't worry Lily Uncle Jaime is going to protect you along with your dads. Mark my words they'll never lay a finger on you

I take the phone off him and type a reply, still hearing Danielle and Summer outside.

I trust you, Uncle Jaime, I won't be left alone with them x

Jaime smiles, leans down and kisses my forehead. Together we would bring Danielle and Summer down, that's if they didn't get to me first. They were capable of anything.

~Few Hours Later~

"Uncle Alex."

"Hey, munchkin."

Alex bends down and I run into his arms. We'd stopped at a service station and Vic mentioned All Time Low's bus was also here and I wanted to see my friends again.

"What no love for the rest of us Lily?"

Jack, Rian and Zack stand behind Alex as he picks me up and carries me over to his band mates.

"Hello, guys."

They wave at me and I wave back.

"What are they doing here? I thought they weren't coming for another month."

Jack points behind me and I know who he's talking about.

"Danielle and Summer want to hurt me again so they decided to come on tour from the start. Ask Jaime he got them on his phone."

"That's messed up, we'll keep an eye on you, Lily."

Rian shuffles forwards and ruffles my hair. I swat his hand away. Now I felt just that bit safer.
