Suddenly the room fell quiet. A painful feeling came into the small room, filling Hoseok with heartbreak and fear. He shivered. The house was warm, warm and comforting, but a wave of frigid air flowed into the bedroom. Hoseok's face heated up with sorrow and fright and his eyes filled with tears. He was about to cry, he could feel it.

His tears threatened to fall as he stared at Taehyung. Taehyung's beautiful face was shrouded with worry and a sense of seriousness as he stared right back at Hoseok, staring sincerely. "I know you've changed." he muttered. Hoseok shuddered and stayed alert. Taehyung inched closer to him, inspecting his strange behavior as he continued on. "You've been pretending to be something you're not. You aren't yourself anymore." Hoseok stared into Taehyung's dark eyes, preparing to deny it all. He opened his mouth to speak, but no words came out. His voice vanished like his happiness. Taehyung moved closer and closer. "I've noticed." he spoke slowly, his face a few inches or so from Hoseok's face. Hoseok's breathing was sharp and quick as he resisted his temptation to kiss, and his temptation to cry. He tried speaking again, but before he could say anything, Taehyung placed his slim finger on Hoseok's soft, heart-shaped lips, silencing him. "Hoseok, I know you better than all of our friends. You're my best friend, and you haven't talked to me since Mina. I left Mina, it's just me now, and you're still different. You're not the same, you're sad." he explained. He had a caring and worried look in his eyes as he stared deeply into Hoseok's eyes, waiting for him to speak. He slowly sat his hand down as he waited patiently. Hoseok sighed closed his eyes, ran a hand through his messy, fading hair, and hesitated. "I don't know what you're talking about." Hoseok claimed nervously. He was shaking with fear and anxiety and tried his best to hide it. Hoseok wasn't very good at hiding his feelings, but everyone seemed fooled. He never took into consideration that one person could see the truth. "Yes, Hoseok, you do know what I'm talking about." Taehyung stated sternly. He moved his face closer to Hoseok's, making the boy blush. He seemed aggressive now, gripping onto Hoseok's thighs as he sat close to him. "Tae, I'm fine." He claimed, smiling nervously. His heart fluttered and flipped in his chest. He felt and immense pressure weighing him down, pulling him and pushing him on the ground. "I promise I'm okay." he forced out. Taehyung sighed and closed his eyes, suddenly backing away and reclining onto his forearms. "If you say so, Hoseok. I believe you." He mumbled. A lie. Hoseok could hear that he was annoyed, and could hear the slight sarcasm in his voice. The atmosphere in the room changed to something more tense than it was before. Even so, Hoseok relaxed, slouching his shoulders forward and letting his hair shroud his eyes.

Hoseok fell back onto his pillows and stared at his ceiling, feeling cold and empty. He breathed heavily and cleared his mind, avoiding all sad thoughts. He was dazed. Taehyung, on the other hand, was sitting back on his arms, focusing on something. He was biting his inner cheek and furrowing his brow, staring tensely at nothing, but thinking hard about something. Hoseok was too spaced-out to notice. Taehyung sighed, adjusting himself on the bed to sit upright against the wall. He clenched his jaw as he crossed his arms. He had something on his mind, something important. It was as though he had to say something, but didn't know if it was the right time. He looked around and puffed out his lips, he tapped his fingers and crossed his legs, and he even scratched his neck and stroked his chin. He was thinking, thinking hard. Hoseok lifted his head after feeling many movements at the end of bed. He stared tiredly at the Taehyung and watched him carefully. "Is something on your mind?" he asked. Taehyung looked at him and squinted, looking at him analytically. "Yes." he replied quietly and unsurely. "I think there is." Hoseok sat up and yawned. "Do you wanna talk about it?" he asked in his yawn. Taehyung hummed in a monotone, uncertain of what he wanted to do. "I think I might." he mumbled. Hoseok looked at him curiously. "Then why don't you talk it out with me?" he proposed sleepily. Taehyung shook his head. "I can't. Not with you." he responded. Hoseok sighed and lay back down. "Whatever." he mumbled. Taehyung stood up. "I'll be back tomorrow. I gotta go see someone." he said. Hoseok hummed and closed his eyes. "See ya." he muttered.

Hoseok slipped under his fluffy comforter and sighed, bundling up and trying to get warm. "I hate that boy." he whispered. He felt a pang in his chest, making him feel even more devastated. Taehyung suddenly appeared, and suddenly left, leaving Hoseok cold and alone. Why would he come, just to see if he was alright? Was he that nosy? And now he suddenly left, refusing to talk about what was one his mind. Did he not trust Hoseok anymore? Hosek felt a small pain. He was kinda hurt; he got hurt easily nowadays. He didn't understand why Taehyung suddenly left with Mina, and now suddenly left after interrogating him. Was he really coming back tomorrow? Hoseok just couldn't understand it. "What does he want?" he asked himself. He kept thinking, never letting his thoughts stop.

Hoseok sighed and rolled around a bit, questioning the day's events. His mind was fuzzy and all-over the place, nothing making complete sense and no theories coming together. Finally giving up on his thoughts, he rested his eyes, and fell asleep once again.
