"Lay back." Keith mumbled, while getting the sonogram machine ready. He was in his element and it was sexy, his uniform, his focus, and his intelligence.
"Now this is going to be cold,"
"I know I know, I just want to see hurry up!"
My stomach was bigger now, and together Xander and I enjoyed watching our baby play. They would push their foot against my belly, and do flips when he would sing to it.
He put the jelly on my stomach, and began the ultrasound. "Holy...shit." Xander mumbled, hit a button then zoomed in. "What's wrong?" He tone in his voice made me panic, "It's a girl."
On the outside you could hear everyone rushing to be first to get in. Luke opened the door and they all came pouring in, my family and friends, and his family and friends all in one room was just a chaotic beauty.
"Keith! What y'all having man?!" Luke asked, while holding onto Kaila.
"We're having a girl." The room erupted with noise, everybody hugging each other and happy as hell. I looked over at Xander and he expression didn't read joy. He looked spaced out, touching his hand he turned his attention to me, and gave me a stiff smile.

When I had woke up it was dark, Xander was holding me extremely tight and I was freezing. I wrapped my legs around him and snuggled into his neck. His skin was warm , and his heart was beating steadily, as I lowered my head onto his chest. As he changed positions he kissed my head, "You ok?"
I nodded, "I'm just really hungry." He got out of bed and turned on the lights, "Come on." Xander helped me out of bed, then we went to the kitchen.
I sat at the bar stool while he looked around for something to make me. His bare back had scratch marks on it, and with every move he made his back would flex. I was mesmerized to say the least.
