I was at Peaches like Kalin asked of me. I didn't have Lenni with me, because Baby came and got her so she could spend the week with Xander.
"Hi welcome to Peaches, are you waiting for someone or would you like me to start you off with a drink?" My waitress asked.
"Hi, can I have a glass of your peach ice tea, sweetened and peach on the side."
"I'll have that to you shortly." She smiled and walked away to another table.
"I'm sorry I'm late, but thank you for meeting me." The chair on the other side of the table was pulled out and Kalin sat down.
"Mhm." I hummed while looking at the menu. It wasn't to be rude but I was hungry, and at least he showed up.
"You gone ignore me baby?" He touched my hand. Looking up from my menu I moved my hand, "I'm not ignoring you Kalin."
"That's what I'm talking about baby, you always mad with me. Shit gets me sad, I don't want to fight with you. You're my bestfriend, even after two years you still got that spot." He took my hand again, rubbing it softly.
"Anyways I thought you said you and ole' boy ain't together. He walked in like he owned you. Wassup with that?" He muttered, while looking at his menu.
"We aren't, he is possessive when I'm around other men, or people in general." Rolling my eyes I thought back to the time where he kissed me in front of his ex to prove his non-existent point.
"Still fucking with them lame ass dudes baby. Y-"
"When is the last time you had a relationship? You have a lot to say about me but we never talk about you." I finally got tired of his comments on my life.
"Haven't found anyone that does it for me." He chuckled, his tongue pushing the inside of his cheek.
"Does what?"
"Actually love me. Hold it down. The whole nine."
"Maybe you haven't been looking." I gave him my full attention.
