Aurora's POV

It has been nearly a month since Scar took over and Sarafina is pregnant. She keeps it a secret though in fear of Scar's wrath. I saw her last week laying with Nala under a tree in the shade together. You could notice Sarafina's growing stomach from the angle she laid at. But they were hidden from praying eyes. I only saw them because it's were other mothers hang out when we were still young.

I have survived my isolation on the cold nights in the cave. Hunts have gotten harder due to us having to hunt more then usual. Zira also did not follow the laws. Her, Scar and the hyenas always got to eat first while the pride got scrapes. So Tama and Sarabi had hated a few small things secretly for Sarafina to eat.

Today something felt different about the pride lands like someone or something else has entered it. I hid and watched as a group of six rogue lionesses appeared. This wasn't right the hyenas were suppose to keep rogues off our lands. Hopefully this will convince Scar to finally bane them from the pride lands.

"Scar I have important news" I call as I approach him and Zira.

"What is it Aurora?" he asks facing me.

"There are six rogue lioness in the pride lands, they came from the out lands" I state.

"The hyenas are suppose to be on patrol" he growled in annoyance.

"No hyenas were in sight" I tell him.

"Lets go see what they want Zira" Scar tells her. "You go to Pride Rock and inform the others of this potential threat. Have the cubs hidden" he orders.

"Of course" I say before running towards pride rock. "Mother there are rogue lionesses in the pride lands. Scar has gone with Zira to investigate" I announce as I approached her and the others.

"Are you sure little one?" Mary asks.

"Yes, they came from the out lands" I state. The hyenas heard and left to investigate. No doubt they'll be punished for this invasion of our lands.

"That's not good, they do not follow our laws" mother states.

"But they'll leave won't they?" Nala asks.

"If Scar thinks they can provide more food then us, he may keep them around" Sarafina explains.

"But that'd make the herd leave" Tama states.

"We just have to have faith, that all will be well especially for Sarafina's sack" mum tells us. "Now we must wait" she states and the others return to the den. Meanwhile she and I lay at the edge of pride rock keeping watch. Until we notice their return and I see they had brought the rogue lionesses.

"That's the rogues mother" I tell her and she stood up.

"Stay close" she tells me as we descend to the ground. "Scar what is the meaning of this? Why are these rogues here? They could kill the young ones" she demands.

"I am the king and I have allowed them to join the pride for the time being. If they prove to be more successful hunters then your party. Then they will join permanently" he states.

"They don't follow the laws that is the only reason they are successful as you put it. If they stay they'll drive the herds away" I state.

"Quiet Aurora" mother tells me but I don't back down.

"She's a feisty little one" one of the rogues state and they chuckle. "But I can assure I'll train it out of her" she adds.

"I'll be training my daughter" mother states firmly. "Scar mark my words no good will come of this" she says and we leave. She bid me a goodnight before I went to my cave while she went to the den. I made two marks on the wall one for an other day of Scar's reign and another thing for why he doesn't deserve to be king. I curled up in the corner as usual and fell asleep quickly.
