chapter 1 ~ meeting my roommate

KYLIE'S P.O.V

"Kylie you have to get up so you can move into your dorm" My mom said shaking me. "alright" i sighed and climbed out of bed. I walked into my bathroom and showered. When i got out i changed into high waisted shorts, A black and white crop top, and black and white vans. I straightened my hair and brushed my teeth. Lastly i applied light eyeshadow and mascara. 

I came back into my room and picked up my iphone 5s that i got as a birthday present. I texted my 4 friends that were attending the same college as me; Caleb, Chris, Melanie, and Alyssa. I was so excited. Im going to be attending one of the biggest colleges in California. I grew up in Callie and love it here. 

I came downstairs and smelled delicious food. "mmm" i said walking into the kitchen. "i made your favorite chocolate chip waffles" my mom said passing me a plate. "eat quick Caleb will be here soon" My mom said. We were all planning on following Caleb in our cars to the college since he was the only one who new how to get there. 

DING DONG* i heard the door bell go off. "i got it" i said and walked over to the door. "hey Caleb" i said as i opened the door wide for him to come in. "Hey Ky you ready to go?" he asked. "yeah lemme grab my bags" i said. "ill help you" he said and followed me to my room. He picked up 2 suit cases and so did i. 

"bye mom im gonna go" i said putting my last bag into my white Range Rover. "bye sweetie im gonna miss you stay out of trouble and promise to call me and your father" she said. "i promise" i said and hugged her. My dad wasnt able to be here because he was away on a business trip but he said goodbye before he left. 

i got in my car and started following Caleb. We pulled up at Chris's house and he pulled out of the drive way and followed too. Next stop was Melanie's house were her and Alyssa were waiting. After meeting up with them we started our about 30 minute drive so it wasnt that long. 

We all pulled up to the college and got out of our cars and greeted eachother with hugs. I took out my suit cases and headed in. We all walked over to were you sighn in. We were waiting in line waiting when we saw a bunch of girl squealing and looking at some one or a group of people. I couldnt really tell. 

"name?" the lady at the desk asked. "Kylie Adams" i said. "ok here is your room key and number if you have any questions feel free to aske me or any other assistant and i hope you enjoy UCLA" she said smiling. "thank you" i said and took the paper and key. I stood off to the side waiting for my friends. "whats your room number?" Melanie asked. "234" i replied. "what about you Alyssa?" she asked. "334" she replied. "me too!" Melanie squealed. "Lucky" i said. 

"dont worry im sure you will get along with your roommate just fine" Alyssa said. "me and Caleb are sharing a dorm" Chris said. "ugh all of you guys are together and im stuck with a random stranger" i whined. "come on lets find your room" Caled said. 

We walked passed a bunch of dorms until we came across room 234. "this is it" i sighed. "ok well see you tomorrow" Caleb said. We all said goodbye and gave our hugs then went into our rooms. I walked in and luckly my roommate hasnt been here yet so i get to pick my side of the room. I picked the right corner and put my stuff down. I was too lazy to unpack so i just pulled out my MacBook Pro and blue Beats headphones and listened to some music and snooped around twitter and Instagram. 

I was looking at some of the magcon boys twitter accounts when Nash tweeted out "First day of college with @CameronDallas @TaylorCaniff @TheMattEspinosa @Mr_Carterr @JackGilinsky @JackJohnson @ShawnMendes @AaronCarpenter We hype!"

I thought for a little. Thats weird they start college the same day as we do. But its school time so i guess its normal  cause all school start at this time. That would be so cool if they went to the same college. I decided to change into pajamas and go to sleep. I went into the bathroom and started to change when i heard the door open the shut. I guess my roommates here.
