Nya stared up at the screen, lightly humming to herself. "There's been no snake activity since yesterday's events. Not too strange, considering you kind of ruined their plans with the whole Ninja versus Samurai thing."

The ninjas, Nya, and Scarlett sat in the Bridge, the samurai pointing at their sensors.

"Uh, Nya... this shit happened yesterday. Like, not even a full twenty four hours ago," Kai commented with a raise of his eyebrow. "You really think we'd see any activity in such a short amount of time?"

"Well, you never know. If they had a backup plan in case their original failed—reiterating what Nya previously said that it did, indeed fail—then they most likely would be on the move," Scarlett countered. She sat on a chair right next to him, resting her legs on his thighs. "Which means that they're currently planning something else already."

"Good point. But what would that even be?" Jay asked.

"I'm afraid only time will tell," Zane responded.

"Unfortunately, we have to wait for them to reveal themselves again in order to move forward with our little Lloyd rescue mission. I'll see what I can plan out," Nya announced to them all.

They each rose from their seats, concluding their brief meeting. Scarlett was the first one out the door. As she left, she held her hand up. "If you guys need me, I'll be in my room."

After about a minute, Cole spoke up. "She got somewhere to be?"

Jay gave him a strange look. "Uh... she literally said her room."

"She's training with her powers," Nya told the group. "Getting a little better every day. She just needs to keep working on that control."

"Ah. Sucks, we were gonna see if she wanted to spar with us. Get her physical training up," Kai said.

"Yeah, no. She seems perfectly content with just the powers for now. I don't think she wants to touch a weapon after last time."

Though his hands were gloved, the ninja in red knew what she meant. It was some time ago, but his skin was still a bit charred from her flames.

"It seems she has her own tasks to complete." Zane was now headed toward the exit. "As do we."

Scarlett sat in front of the ceramic box like yesterday, creating a flame the size of her open hand. She took a deep breath before closing it into a fist.

The flame didn't budge.

She sighed, leaning back against her bed. "I literally did this shit last night."

The flame only got bigger due to her frustration. Fortunately, it was incapable of escaping the box.

"You," she seethed as she pointed at the fire like it could talk back, "you're giving me too many problems. Literally die."

The flame only shrunk, but did not disappear.

Kai, walking up to the entrance, decided to lean against the doorframe, wiping a bit of sweat from his forehead with the towel that wrapped around his shoulders. He watched her for a moment before lightly knocking on the wall.
