Sometimes you just have to let go, but what happens if it is difficult to. So many people confuse letting go with giving up, whereas they are two different phrases.

When you give up, it means you allow fear and hurt to hold you in restraint, it means you let your weaknesses to prevail.

And when you let go, you free yourself from the hurt, not because you can't fight anymore, not because you can't go beyond that, but because you realise it is not worth it.

The question is, is Mike worth holding on to? Or will letting go be the best option?

I don't ever wanna let go, I won't. I don't know how long it's going to take but I'll be patient, I'll wait.

Emma still believed in the tiny fragment of hope remaining, after all have been shattered and washed away, she is still holding on to that little piece.

She use to tell herself it is what she learnt from Mike, if waiting was so difficult, then Mike will not wait that long for Samantha. But he did, and that alone answers her question, she can do it too.

But will it be that easy?

It's hard when someone special to you ignores you, but it's even more harder pretending that you don't care.

So instead of making the decision of letting go, Emma decides that she will put in her best and continue to hope.

Little did she know that letting go is freeing, letting go is self-care.

She leant against the concrete pole at the balcony and go in deep thoughts. Firstly she thought of how hurt Sam will be right now, even though she is a fighter, she knew how much she despise Sophia and the fact that she own a space in her father's heart.

Sophia is a top model who made her way in the field by laying her back down to impress the promoters. Even before she became Williams' girlfriend, Sam and her never got along.

She is so intimidating and proud, it would've been better for her if she got her fame by her sweat, Sam would complain.

And to top it all, she turned out to be her father latest crush. Not only that was freaking her out, but the fact that Williams is being all serious about the stepmother speech is enough to make her stomach growl.

Emma moved a step and she was hindered by the appearance of Alex at the doorway.

"Alex, for how long have you been here?" she asked astoundingly.

"For as long as you've been stuck here alone and deep in thought," Alex replies in a more serious tone than usual.

Not that they were really close, but he is always compassionate about her. So protective of her and observes when anything go wrong.

"Can I have a word with my little sister?" he asked, leaning against the balcony.

"Eehm, actually I was on my way to check Sam when...," she stammered.

"Sam is fine, Mike is with her. Why is it always about Sam, I'm your brother for crying out loud," he snapped.

"Sorry, I'm all ears," she stated sullenly.

And she rest on the wall behind Mike instead of going to her former position. Was it because she can't look him in the face? No. The reason is, whatever it is he wants to say to her, she is not sure if she'll handle it well.

"For how long do you wanna keep doing this?" he asked, like a puzzle.

"What..... Wha.., I don't understand you," she let out in both pretence and splinters.
