Flashback....

"Can I be your friend?"

Emma's brows knitted together as she said, "I'm your friend,"

"I know. Just wanting it official. We can go out together, have dinner together, and more. Am I allowed that?

Emma was dazed, followed by absence of words. She was dumbstruck, apparently. Her mouth dropped open, but she closed it back. She felt thousands of feelings at a time. Euphoria. Ecstasy. Delirium. Fantasy. She can't say which was real or about to slip away. She can't tell which was the ice block, or the dry ice. Which was going to melt, or poof.

But all she knows was that, it's a good sign. The one she's been looking forward to. And with that, she said, "Yes,"

Mike broke into a grin. "Thanks. It means a lot to me,"

Samantha stares deep at the glass of vodka, holding it tightly like her fury could possibly be vented on it.

The sound system blared music loud enough to stop her thinking, but it was only externally effective. All her efforts to put an hold to the extreme hurt she's feeling proves abortive. Not even the loud voices that keep igniting the monster in her.

JJZ club house have always been a place of solace to her. Albeit she never thought of it as a brooding arena. All she does there was have fun till she could forget her worries. But tonight seems different. Everything hurts. Even after the fifth cup of vodka, she didn't get the oblivion she so needs.

"Trust me Sam, you allowed her to hurt you this deep. That girl have always been up for you," Rosa, one of the girls she keeps up with at the club commented, snidely.

The other two girls, Tessa and Caro laughed at Rosa's blatant words. Of all things, they all know this isn't the right time to blame Sam. But Rosa, being the abrupt and contemptuous person she is, never thinks of other people's feelings. She is the one to act right on impulse.

They are all sat on the booth with Samantha in the middle and Tessa directly next to her. Rosa is more of a no-nonsense person with a look that says the opposite. One would've thought she's the easygoing one if judging from her look, but she is more of a blunt irrational woman.

The silvery blouse she wore stopped just above her naval with a short that ripped at the end. Her artificial red hair falls down her body and she allows it to slay in style. Just like Sam, she's a model. But was sent out of home and she lives alone, all by herself. That speaks for her strong and unyielding nature.

Tessa, on the other hand is just an innocent media student, struggling with school and her dancing/modelling career at the same time. A wide eyed brunette with a caramel color that emphasises melanin. She has a look to die for.

Caro is the amazing one. Bipolar and unpredictable, but would say it all out and point out their faults to them. Most times, she would be the one to settle any ruckus that ensued between them. Being the eldest of her two siblings, she turned out being more matured than she was supposed to be. After the death of their both parents, she took on the responsibility and that says it all.

With her long legs, small body and perfectly shaped face, she made it as a top model in advertising. She has a dark hair with a fairly toned skin and a nose that looks like she underwent rhinoplasty. Above all, she has a good heart.

Tessa observed the light tears that trailed down Sam's bloodshot eyes. She moved closer to Sam, offering her a pat on the shoulder. Tessa knows better than making an utterance, it will seem irrelevant and unnecessary.
