Chapter 10: You Saved Me!

"What are you gonna do about this?" Jason said leaning into to Jessica and he kissed her on the lips and she struggled. She looked at the person but it was too dark to tell who it was. But he could definitely see her. Her blue eyes were lit with horror and fright.

"Oh you will see if you don't stop." The person said with a mysterious voice.

"Who are you?" Jason said with his arms still on Jessica's waist that was pushed up against a tree trunk.

"Your worst nightmare..." The voice said with a little growl like noise at the end. Jason laughed.

"Really is that all you got? We'll let's see what you do about this!" Jason grasped Jessica's waist even harder and sort of threw her into another tree. Her head hit the trunk and she went out like a light.

The man grabbed Jason and threw him to the nearest tree. There was a big sharp piece of wood hanging out. Jason got stabbed by the sharp wood piece and went limp. All of his friends ran fast! And the boy ran over to Jessica's unconscious body.

"Jessica are you okay!?" He grabbed her head and checked for blood but there was nothing. Jessica opened her eyes slowly adjusting. She looked up to see.....

"Jake!? OMG you saved me thanks! But why are your eyes like that?" Jessica said staring into Jakes now red eyes. Jake picked her up. "Wait where are we going? And are you gonna explain?" In the blink of an eye hey were in Jessica's room. Jake laid Jessica on her bed.

"Okay I will explain, but you have to promise you won't be scared or hate me!" Jake said sitting on the bed next to her. Jessica nodded. "Okay I am not human."

"What do you mean not human?" Jessica asked frightened.

"You see I was born in 1965. And I met this girl named Sabrina at the age of 15. I was sure I was in love with her. But then she got over controlling, and I couldn't take it any more. So I broke up with her trying not to hurt her feelings. But then she said that I would never get to age or be human or go to school. And then she said some weird bunch of mixed words and I fell to the ground and didn't wake up until I was in the ground. I woke up in a cemetery, coffin. I was so scared and didn't know what was going on! Then I got out if the ground and went to my home. But my family wasn't there! Nobody lived there anymore and it was 1991! I had slept for a while! I haven't been able to age or sleep and now I have abilities that I can't explain!" Jake put his head down.

"Abilities like what?" Jessica said sitting up.

"When I get mad sometimes my eyes turn red. I can run super fast. I have super strength. I can touch something and it will either disappear or burn. And I can stop time. I can also see threw something's. And I did research and it all points to that I must be cursed to be a demon. For... Forever...." Jake said with a tear sliding down his face.

"It's okay jake! We are still best friends! And that will never change-" Jessica said as Jake leaned in and kissed Jessica! She kissed back but then....

"Whoa! Sorry I was just wondering if you know what is for dinner but never mind! Yuck!" Justin said as Jessica and Jake both pulled away. As soon as Justin was out of the room they were back on too of each other like they have been together for weeks and madly in love! They kissed for about an hour just kissing and looking into each other's eyes. Then Jessica got tired and then they just layer there talking until she fell asleep. Then Jake just watched her sleep.

'She sleeps so peacefully! The most beautiful thing I have ever seen.' Jake thought to himself.

Jessica was woke in the morning by a kiss on a cheek and a little shake. "Hey it's 5:00. I let you sleep in because of how much of a work out you got yesterday. Jake said smiling. Jessica smiled. 'Is this what it feels like to have a boyfriend?' Jessica thought.

"I'm up I am up!" Jessica said to Jake as he lifted her out if bed. "I said I was up, I didn't need help..." Jessica said dramatically like a superstar. "And I am gonna get changed, so get out if my room." She said giving him the 'shoo!' Gesture.

Jessica pulled out a red t shirt that had a smiley face on it. She took a pair of short jean shorts, and a pair of red all stars. Her hair today was in a side braid with a stripe of blonde hair chalk in her bangs. Her make up was reddish lipstick and skin colored eyeshadow with glitter and thin mascara. Her blush was a light red.

"You look perfect." Jake said as she walked out of her bedroom bathroom. He grabbed her waist and gave her a quick peck on the lips.

"We'll I am gonna hit the bus stop! See ya later!" Jessica said running out the door. When she got on the bus she looked towards the window and saw him waving like usual. She waved back and blushed like never before. 'I am dating that hunk!' She thought exited.

In her first class of the day today was history. She seemed way happier than usual. And she was usually a genuinely a happy person. "Hey Jess!" Dak said when she sat next to him. Jessica smiled back.

"Hey! What's up. Oh ya! Sorry about not going to Paige's something came up....."

"Yah we heard! Everyone heard!" Paige screamed. "Jason is dead! Jessica,dead! And nobody knows what happened... They think that he got attacked by a bear. But the boys said that it was a super human boy! Wow they must have been really drunk!" Paige said looking over at the jock table. It looked empty. And the boys there looked sad, lonely and helpless. 'I feel so bad! It was basically my fault.' Jessica thought to herself. Some of the jock girls were even crying! Dak is kinda friends with them, so he walked over to them.

"Guys I am so sorry, this is horrible! Jason was a pretty chill guy. Are you guys gonna have a shrine?" Dak asked scratching the top of his head.

"Yah we probably are....." Ashley said wiping the tears from her eyes. Ashley was Jason's sister. So it was really hitting her hard.

"Oh we'll if you do tell me I have some pictures that should be in it." Dak said frowning.

"I will tell you at football later." Austin said. His hair was dirty blonde, and kinda long, but also kinda curly. He was wearing his jersey and football jacket. His shorts were blue and green and purple, the color of his football team colors.

"Alright...." Dak said turning around and walking away. His blue nike shorts matches his black nike shirt and his black nike shoes.

"You okay?" Paige said patting him on the back.

"Yah I am fine I just can't believe he is gone, I used to look up to how cool he was. I WANTED to be him or at least as cool.... And he was just drunk it's not like he would do that if he wasn't." Dak sat down in his chair.

"Umm no! He was rude and stupid and only the jocks liked him. Dak everyone like you! You should be the coolest!" Sammie said louder than usual.

"Yah!" Paige and Jordan said in unison. Jessica touched his shoulder.

"Dak, don't ever want to be anyone else. Because you have way to many friends. And if you were like them, we wouldn't be friends." Jessica said with seriousness.

"You know what guys! You are right! I should be cool! But if it means that I can't or wouldn't be friends with you guys, I don't want to be popular!" Dak said looking at Paige with his arms around Jessica and Sammie.
