Chapter 8: Friends

When lunch time came Jessica had met 4 friends and a couple jerks. She had Jordan, Paige, a girl named Sammie, and a boy named Dak. Dak was a brown haired boy with straight short gelled up hair. He always wore basketball shorts and muscle shirts. He was very outgoing and was really handsome, mostly because his brown eyes just pull you in! And Sammie has long white hair with pink highlights! She has blue eyes and always wears band shirts and skinny jeans. Her shoes are always vans, converse, combat boots, or Osiris's.

The jerks were all pretty much the same.... There was Jason, Ashley, Max, and Alex. Alex was a male and he had red hair. It was a buzzcut hairdo. He wore a football team jacket and jeans with adidas shoes. Max was also a male with brown hair. His hair was kinda long for a jock, he always wore a hat and a hoodie over his nike shirt. Jeans and Jordan's shoes.

The cafeteria was CRAZY! People trying to find were to sit, and then people getting to know each other. It was really loud.....

"So your brother.... Is he cute?" Sammie asked Jessica.

"Ewwww no! We'll you can find out what you think he is right over there." Jessica said pointing to the classroom across from the cafeteria. Sammie looked into the room to see Justin looking at the teacher. She couldn't see his face but she saw his hair and she giggled.

"His hair is SOO HOT!" Sammie practically screamed. Jessica gagged jokingly. Not a lot of people thought that Justin was even cute, let alone hot! And of course the person that liked him had to be a new friend of hers!

"Eeewwww no! He isn't cute! And he is Jessica's brother so he is off limits!" Paige screams. Sammie sticks out her tongue at Jessica and Paige.

"What's up dork?" Jason says slapping Jordan on the back of the head.

Jordan flinches. "Umm i am fine but can you please not call me dork?" Jordan asked politely.

"Nah I am gonna keep calling you that! Because I can do what I want." Then Jason laughed.

'Why wasn't anyone saying anything? Dak is strong looking and Paige is sweet maybe he will listen to them....' Jessica stood up. "Well he doesn't want you to call him that so STOP! How would you like it if I called you dork?" Then Jessica sat back down. Everyone stared at her like she'd just killed someone.

"Wow Jessica! You are one brave chick!" Dak said putting his arm around her. (In a friendly kind of way)

"Yah no one would talk like that to Jason like he owns every school he goes to!" Sammie said giving Jessica a friendly punch on the shoulder.

"Thanks! I usually get picked on by the 'jocks' at the school, except for Dak and Paige... But anyway thank a lot!" Jordan said giving Jessica a genuinely nice smile.

During the last class before the end of the day, Jason walked up to Jessica. "So you think just because you are hot, you can tell me what I can and can't do? Well listen here sweet cheeks, that's not gonna happen! So don't keep your hopes up! But you can have my number." Jason said pulling out his phone. Jessica got up and walked away!

'RRRRIIIINNNGGG!' The bell that meant the end of school. Jessica got out her phone and put her earphones in her ear. Dak walked by. "Hey! You go on the bus right?" Jessica nodded and kept walking. "Okay well I can walk you to your bus if you'd like." Dak asked with a big grin on his face and an arm out like a prince would do to a princess. Jessica shrugged.

"Okay but I am also walk with Paige she is on my bus. But yah come on prince I don't want it to leave without me!" She grabbed his arm and he surprisingly picked her up in a baby cradle and started running towards her bus. They got there REALLY FAST!

"There you go! Bus 14! Talk to you later princess belle!" He said waking away.

On the bus Jessica sat next to Paige again. "Hey Paige what's up?" Jessica said smiling at her. She smiled back.

"Nothing, so how was the first day of high school? For me it was awesome!" She shrugged and Paige frowned. "How was it not the BEST DAY EVER?!" Paige asked practically screaming.

"It wasn't the best day for me either!" Sammie said poking her head out from the seat behind me.

"Oh hey, Sammie!" Jessica said grinning and looking back and forth from Sammie and Justin. "Why wasn't it the best day ever for you?" Jessica asked Sammie curiously. Sammie frowned.

"Okay here goes.... So I walked over to, you know who. And started just talking back and forth. Then of course one of those stupid jock bitches walked over and started flirting! She cut me right off!!!! Then the bell rang and I had to be in class! I didn't even get to flirt with him!" Sammie looked angry and sad at the same time. "And of course it had to be that slut bitch ashley from history class!" Paige and Jessica both laughed at that remark.

When Jessica and Justin got home nobody else was there so Justin grabbed an apple and headed to his room. "I'll be in my room. If you need me just knock." Justin walked into his room and shut the door tight.

Jessica walked into her room. "Hey! You know these songs are really good. Did you write these?" Jake asked turning to Jessica. She nodded and put her blue and green back pack on the bed next to Jake.

"Wow I am glad you made yourself comfortable by going threw my stuff and turning my bed into a chair but umm can u put that down." She asked politely sitting on the bed next to him. He put the journal down.

"Sorry they are just so good!!!!" He said flipping his hair out if his face. He was wearing a plain white t shirt and a pair of black jeans with black combat boots. Jessica blushed. She always feels weird when he is close and she doesn't know why. It's like he is different but she doesn't know how.
