Chapter 15: Overnight

'Tonight is gonna be a long night!' Jessica thought settling into her chair. 'But I am not gonna sleep so it is gonna be extra long!' Jessica thought looking over at Sammie. She was already asleep.

'Beep!' Jessica's phone got a text. "Hey r u asleep yet?" Jake asked from the phone she bought him for his birthday.

"No I might not sleep tonight.... I am not up for sleeping..." Jessica typed.

"Want company?" Jake typed back with super speed. 'Man it is so cool how he does that!' Jessica thought referring to his super speed typing.

"Sure!" As soon as Jessica sent it, she felt a whoosh of air. Then Jake was there.

"Hey! Wow I am so glad you are here I am SO bored!" Jessica whispered. Jake sat in the chair next to her.

"We'll thanks... And so why aren't you gonna sleep? Is it the dreams?" Jake asked curiously.

"No! I just am not tired. If I get tired I will sleep...." Jessica said. She was always good at lying. But she didn't do it a lot, because she never had a reason to. Until now....

Jake and Jessica just sat there and talked for about 1 hour. Then Jessica started to drift off. She tried to deny it and stay awake but that wasn't happening... Jake finally put his arm around her and let her head fall onto his shoulder.

Surprisingly she didn't have the dream that night... Even though she was sure she would! But when she woke up in the morning. Jake was right there, wide awake, just playing with his phone. Sammie was awake too, she was watching Justin. He was still sleeping and didn't wake up last night. They were getting a little worried about him.

"You hungry?" Jake asked Sammie and Jessica. They both nodded. "Okay you guys can stay and I will get what you want... So what do you want?" Jake asked scratching the top of his head.

"Umm I will have a blueberry bagel...." Sammie says fixing her hair.

"Okay I already know what Jess wants so yah I will be right back." Jake said walking out the door. Jessica heard him speed away as soon as the door was closed. Jessica smiled because she loved how he was so unique... She has never met anyone that was so nice caring and good looking at the same time! Until now.

'Am I in love?' Jessica thought to herself. 'I don't know what that would feel like...' Jessica thought.

When Jake got back he had got 2 egg and cheese croissants, a blueberry bagel, and a bacon egg and cheese croissant in case Justin wakes up. Sammie and Jessica take forever to eat! And Jake is like a immortal human garbage disposal! He could eat anything in any amount of time!

Until lunch they all just sat there... For a little while they played scrabble. But of course Jake won.... Because he could think faster than they could! And he could use his x-Ray vision to see the letters the other person had. :(

Jake went to get them something for lunch. While Sammie was in the bathroom, Jessica was looking at herself in the hospital door mirror... Then she saw a flash of light and there was a sticky note on the door! 'I warned you! You should actually listen before you get yourself hurt! ~Sabrina' the sticky note said. Jessica heard the bathroom door open and she jumped.

"Chill out! It's just me!" Sammie yelled putting her hands up in the 'I surrender!' Gesture.

When Jake got back he knocked. Jessica opened it. "Why knock?" She asked curiously.

"We'll one of you could be changing and have no clothes on..... So yah... I knocked!" Jake said pulling out there lunch, KFC!

"Wow there isn't a KFC for miles! How did you go that fast!?" Sammie asked surprised. Jake shrugged.

"I guess I am just special!" Jake said giving the girls a sarcastic grin.

"Yah I guess you are..." Jessica said looking at him and sticking your tongue out.
