THE BOOK!

Chapter 13: He's gone!

There she is again. Kissing Jake passionately like last night. And then she is up against the wall. In the blink of an eye she was back on top of the building. Then the worst part of every night. The whimpering. Except this time she saw the girl. She was dirty blonde, and she was wearing an old fashioned dress. And then Jake stopped whimpering and just laid there not moving. Not breathing. Eyes open, not blinking.

Then she woke up. She was crying! 'I guess I couldn't hold it in when I saw him lying there dead!' She thought. She felt his arms pulling her to his chest.

"Are you okay? You were crying!" Jake said pulling her head from his chest. She was trembling real bad! Her head was sweaty, and her teeth were clattering.

"Yah it was just another dream. Nothing that important." Jessica said adjusting her shirt, it was riding up her back.

"Jessica it must be important, you were crying!" Jake said looking at her with his beautiful eyes.

"I actually don't remember...." Jessica said lying.

"Okay... I just wanted to make sure you were alright. We'll you should probably go back to sleep. It is 3:00 again." Jake said looking at the clock. Jessica laid back down and closed her eyes. Drifting off, all she could think about was his lifeless body on her floor.

Jake woke her up. "Hey Jess! It's 5:30! You should probably get up." Jake said then speeding out of the room. Jessica stood up and wiped her eyes. She looked in the mirror. 'Uggh! Why can't I be one of those girls who look perfect in the morning? Or are those just girls in movies?' Jessica asked herself.

She put her hair in a side braid and wore a skrillex shirt. Then she had bright green skinny jeans with the same neon green converses Jake suggested on the first day of school.

Her makeup was pink blush, pink lipgloss, and greenish eyeshadow. She looked good. Like the reality version of perfect.

She grabbed a banana and gave Jake a peck on the lips then ran out for the bus.

"Whoa! Is that a hickey?" Sammie asked Jessica when she pulled her shirt passed her neck to scratch her chest. Jessica pulled her shirt up.

"What! No! Umm... Yes.." Jessica said admitting. Paige and Sammie looked suprised. "We'll I knew I wasn't perfect but you don't have to act that surprised!" Jessica said smiling.

"Who is he?!" Paige asked jumping up and down in her seat. Jessica hesitated.

"His name is Jake, and he is from another school. And we have been dating for about 2 or 3 weeks..." Jessica said smiling just thinking about him, gave her the biggest happy feeling.

"Girl! Why didn't you tell us before! We should have known! I mean all those times you were busy! You were making out with this Jake boy!" Sammie said grinning big.

"No this is one of the first times we have kissed like that!" Jessica said emphasizing 'that!' Sammie's eyes widened.

"You didn't have... Have... Sex did you?" Sammie asked flinching as she said that word. Jessica just didn't seem like the kinda girl.

"Oh! God! No!" Jessica yelled. Paige and Sammie sighed in relief.

The whole day was basically a drag. Until lunch. Jessica went into the bathroom and called her house.

"Hello?" Jake answered. Jessica loved the sound of his voice over the phone.

"Hey! Thanks for the homework!" Jessica said loudly into the phone.

"Hey! No thanks you deserve it! We'll I will let you go! Bye babe!" Jake said as Jessica smiled.

"Bye Jake! I mean babe..." She smiled saying babe.

She put the phone down and started fixing her hair. She undid a couple parts of the braid. Then she saw a paper stuck on a stall. She picked it up. 'Stay away from him! He wasn't supposed to find love! He was supposed to come running back to me! You can't have him!!!~Sabrina." A sticky note on a stall door. Jessica grabbed the note and crumpled it up.

"I can have him if I want!" Jessica whisper screamed. Then Jessica heard a whisper.

"He doesn't love you anyway! He loves me still." The voice said.

"If he loves you so much, why did he break up with you?" Jessica asked.

"Because we were in a fight. And it slipped out. We were both so angry at each other." The voice said seeming casual. "But don't get close to him. I am waiting for him to come back to me! And if you get too close, I will have to do something about it!" The voice said as a whoosh of air passed by. Then the voice was gone.

After lunch the whole day was pretty boring... A quiz, handing in the homework Jake did, and workshop... But when she got home, her mom was home.

"Mom why are you home?" Jessica asked confused. Her mom went to a doctors appointment but was gonna go straight to work.

"Yah but I have some bad news." The mom said wiping the tears from her eyes. Jessica was extra confused right now!

"Okay! What's wrong? What's the bad news?" Jessica asked sitting next to her mom on the couch.

"We'll we know that the babies a boy... But... But... He.... He... Died!" The mom said bursting out in tears.
