Hearing the door crack slightly open, my senses woke up but my eyes were still shut trying to go back to sleep. I hated the fact that I was a light sleeper, the slightest noise or movement around me wakes me up.

I could feel someone in my room walking on their tiptoes, I figured it was Aaroosa trying to pull off one of her pranks on me but I was too lazy to open my eyes and spoil her fun, so I just let her be.

A few minutes had passed, I could still feel a bit of movement in the room and I heard noises outside, maybe in the living area?

Opening my eyes lazily, I noticed that the room was now empty but there were a few chairs that I never noticed before at the end of the room. How did these get in here?

As if on cue, Aaroosa and Waliyha entered my room holding a few boxes in their hands, placing them on my table.

“What are all of these?” I asked yawning setting up straight on the bed.

“We are moving Aaroosa’s things from her apartment since Sarah is not there now.” Waliyha answered simply.

Tilting my head to look at the clock on my night stand, it was 10AM. Why did they have to move so early on a Sunday? And where was Sarah?

Yawning while stretching my body on the bed I decide I have had enough sleep. I got out of bed lazily and searched for my slippers, which were under one of those boxes they brought. How nice. Why did they have to put their things in my room anyways? The living area was big enough.

Looking around, the place was a dump. Boxes everywhere and a few chairs at the corner, it made my already small room even smaller. It made me feel depressed.

Growling I managed to get around the mess that is now my room. “Are you going to get any more things in here?” I asked Aaroosa who just came out of my balcony.

“No that was the last of it.” She answered a bit annoyed. I rolled my eyes at her reaction, I’m the one whose room turned into a storage room and yet she was the one annoyed. “Relax neat freak, we’ll clean it up once the boys put all big stuff away.” She nudged me on her way out of the room. Wait did she say boys? What boys?

I put my scarf around my head lazily as I went to the bathroom to get ready for the day. I quickly brushed my teeth, took a quick bath then changed into a long black dress and a full sleeve jean jacket. I throw my scarf around my head in a messy way and got out of the bathroom.

“Hey!” I almost fill in someone’s arms but I pulled myself together at last second, “watch where you are going.” Out of all people I almost hit, it had to be Zayn. Just my luck.

“Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed today.” He said sarcastically and I could feel my cheeks burning; they must be as red as a tomato. I didn’t know how to act around him anymore, especially after our almost kiss and my dream.

We stood there awkwardly for a few seconds then I mumbled ‘I’m sorry.’ and ran to my room. This couldn’t get any more awkward than this. He must think that I’m throwing myself at him. I almost fell in his arms but I’m not throwing myself at anyone. It was his fault, how could I have known that he was walking inside as I got out of the bathroom?

Hearing a knock on my door, I titled my head to the side to see Waliyha peeking in, “Hey Maggs. We are going out; do you want to join us?”

“No, go ahead.” I said faking a smile. It would be too awkward sitting on the same table as Zayn.

“Oh, c’mon. It’s a Sunday, we are all going to hang out together and we don’t want you to stay here alone.” She urged me with a little puppy face.
