Percy:

Nico woke up in the middle of the night, freaking out due to a nightmare. It didn't help that he didn't feel good and quickly ran to the bathroom connected to my room in order to throw up due to the drinking from last night's.

Yet another reason why I don't drink, ladies and gentlemen.

I sort of ignored it, and just stayed where I was. I didn't realize that it was Nico, and I wasn't aware of the time. So Nico walked over and when he sat down on the bed is when I woke up.

"Hm?" I remarked, tired as I noticed it was only 3 AM. "What are you doing up, Nico? It's only 3. We can sleep until 7."

"Bad dream," he explained to me. "The alcohol is gone, though. I threw it all up."

Feeling bad, I sat up next to him and began rubbing his back. He'd need to shower in the morning. We all need to.

After having some crackers, a glass of water, and a handful of pomegranate seeds, I got Nico to lay back down. He just needed to get some stuff back in his system. That's all.

Sally:

Morning came along, and we had a visitor. A normal visitor ever since about six months ago when he popped back into my life.

It was Gabe.

And let me explain that he was sober. He could've come back a lot earlier, he chose not to. He's not dumb, he probably knew I wouldn't have anything to do with him until he sobered up. So he's sober now and he lives a few miles away.

Percy hasn't been made aware of this yet, either. I know he'd freak out and if he does so, I want to make sure there isn't anyone around. Maybe Paul because Paul knew the situation. If he saw Gabe, he would probably try to kill Gabe. Or at least hurt him. He has so much balled up anger that it'll just all combust at once.

Susan ran over to him, yelling "Uncle Gabe! Uncle Gabe!" Because as me being an 'only' child (still don't know what happened to the other two triplets I'm a part of) and Paul was adopted into a family where he's the only child, she doesn't have aunt's or uncle's. So she calls Gabe Uncle Gabe. He's a sweetheart to her.

Wish he was that way to Percy, but that didn't happen. She's also an angel compared to Percy as a kid, so I can't argue that.

This is when I got a call from my son. Not Peter. Percy.

"Hey, honey," I said, answering the call. "What's up?"

"Hi, Mom," he said in the tone that he was embarrassed by that nickname. "Sorry if I bothered you. It's still fairly early. But I have a meeting on Olympus in like an hour. I was just told."

"Alright," I remarked, waiting for him to explain the point of the call. "And?"

"Could you watch the twins?"

"I think so, yeah," I assured him. "I might have to leave for a little bit, but Paul has the day off. What time will you be here?"

"I'm five minutes away from the apartment."

Hanging up, I sort of looked around for reasons unknown. Gabe looked at me, a little confused. Which, I could understand why.

"Who...?"

"Percy." I explained. "He'll be here in about five minutes."

"I can't get out of sight in five minutes."

"That's what I was thinking."

As were debating what to do, Percy was earlier than five minutes. It was closer to three minutes and Gabe tried to act casual and talk to Paul. Which worked at first.
