Chiron:

It was a quarter to 6 in the morning when Mr. D came rushing into my office, putting down a recorder.

"What are you—" I questioned, still not fully awake. "You're never up this early."

"Apollo woke me up because Percy woke up." He explained to me, sounding frantic. "He's asleep now. But I found out why Gabe was mad. Why Percy said what he said. It's... It's something else. I recorded it, though. You can listen or I can just simplify it."

"I'm still tired, just simplify it."

Sitting down across from me, Dionysus took in a breath before shocking the hell out of me.

"Gabe and Percy knew each other before Percy came here." Mr. D tells me, remaining calm. "Gabe married his mom when he was little."

"So?" I asked. "I know that. It was on his file when I taught at Yancy Academy."

"Well, okay, yeah." Mr. D goes on, figuring I'd know that much. "but Gabe abused Percy. Like put him in the hospital multiple times, giving him scars, abuse. Made him want to kill himself abuse. He said that I'm the first person that he's told. Because when he was little Gabe threatened to kill him if anyone found out. He also saw Gabe threaten to gut his mom, in which his mom confessed that he has hurt her before. He thought Gabe died his first summer here. That's the only reason he went home. Because he thought he was gone. Dead. Otherwise... I mean, he would've stayed here or ran away."

I sort of gave him a look, not exactly believing this. Gabe goes on trial today. They're giving Percy the last of the ambrosia and nectar he'll need to be healed enough to walk around and what not so he can go to Olympus. So justice can be served for this assault.

It took Mr. D to play the recording before I believed a word of that. Because you can hear it in Percy's voice. The building anxiety, and the fear that this will get out. That Gabe finds out he opened his mouth about it.

That he'll get punished for this.

So I dug up some of Percy's medical files for today, along with other things. Percy was released right before breakfast. On crutches. He could walk. But he had troubles breathing when he did that entirely on his own.

After breakfast, we went to Olympus. All witnesses came with. The gods were the judges. A number of dead demigods were a part of the jury. Some knew one of them. Some knew neither of them. Bianca was on the council. Charles Beckendorf. Silena Beauregard. Ethan Nakamura. Lee Fletcher. Michael Yew. Aside that, it was older demigods, or mortals.

Percy:

So Mr. D and Chiron wanted me to testify not only this incident, but the entire abuse situation between Gabe and I.

Mind you all of the gods, my boyfriend, best friend, family, and children are all here. And none of them know. Mr. D, Chiron, and Gabe. That was it.

On top of that, a few of Moms boyfriend's from between Gabe and Paul were here, too. One of which I really liked that ended up having to move. He was a mythological professor. Me, knowing a lot about that stuff, we helped each other out. He helped me with school. I helped him fill in the gaps of a myth he couldn't remember. I know all of them just about. Roman and Greek. Some Egyptian. Very little Norse.

So he was here. The first guy I felt I could trust after Gabe leaving.

People from high school were here. Middle school. Hell, Nancy Bobofit showed up.

We swore in, and Hera asked me if what we were going against Gabe for was correct. Physical assault.

"Yes, ma'am."
