I Never Knew

chapter 5♡

Bella's POV

"Aren't you happy for me?" I ask, my voice cracking in the process.

"Bella it's not that I'm not happy for ya it's just that he has a reputation--" He says,  but I cut him off.

"I know, I know!!! But HE COULD CHANGE!!!!" I almost yelled

"I JUST DON'T WANT YOU TO GET HURT! I DON'T WANT YOU TO GO TO THAT DATE! I CARE TOO MUCH ABOUT YOU!!!" He yells.

"WHY!? I'M NOT GONNA GET HURT I COULD TAKE CARE OF MY SELF!" I yelled back.

"BECAUSE I LOVE YOU!"He yelled quickly,before covering his mouth.

What he loves me!? So what the girls said today was true? I stayed in shock and just stared at him. I didn't have anywords. He got up and dashed upstairs. I stayed there and after a minute or two I went to look for him. Maybe I have been developing feelings for him too. Hmm. I have to talk to him. I went upstairs and saw him in the corner of the hall sobbing. I suddenly felt bad and sat next to him. We've never fought like this before.

"Ni, I'm so sorry, I mean it." I said hugging him.

"No Bella, I'm sorry, you're right you could take care of yourself but I wanna be there looking out for you. Always." Niall said hugging me back.

"I know you just wanna take care of me." I said into his chest. "Can I ask you something?" I asked

"Mmhhmm." He responded.

"When you said you loved me, did you really mean it, as in more than friends?" I asked him.

He stayed silent for a moment, but suddenly spoke.

"Yes, yes I meant it. But it's okay if you don't feel the same way, I kind of already knew you wouldn't love me back because you love Xavier. But I will always love ya. Remember that." Niall said with a tear rolling down his cheek.

"You don't know that." I said pulling away from the hug.

"What do you mean?" He asked looking me in the eyes.

"Niall I love you too, I was just scared to tell you because we had such a great friendship and I didn't wanna ruin that, But I love you too Niall" I said looking at him.

He smiled and hugged me tightly I giggled and hugged him back. He pulled back and asked me the best question in the world.

"So now that I know you love me, Isabella.Will you be my girlfriend??" He asked,with a nervous look in his face being scared about my answer

"Does this answer your question?" I said and crashed my lips in his, our lips moved in sync and I slowly pulled back.

Niall's POV

I confessed my love to her and it turns out she loved me back. Huh it wasn't that hard. She kissed me after I asked her to be my girlfriend I took that as a yes but still making sure I asked.

"So is that a yes?" I asked her.

"Duh." She giggled.

"YESS!!!!!" I said standing up and pumping my fist in the air.

She got up and I hugged her and spun her around. I can't believe I could finally call Isabella mine. I was so happy words couldn't even explain my happiness.

"Wow Niall, you love me that much?" She giggled.

"Yes, that and much much more!" I said.

"I love you too Nialler, now how about we go watch another film?" She asked.

"Whatever you say, babe." I said grabbing her waist from behind and putting my chin on her shoulder.

"Babe, I like the sound of that" She said.

I chuckled and we went downstairs to watch more films for the rest of the night. She fell asleep in my arms and I carried her to her bed and set her down climbing in with her and putting my arms around her. We then fell asleep peacefully, with me happily knowing she was mine.
