Pucker Up
The festive mood spread all around town,
As Loren and the girls performed the first song,
Sheriff 3Gun sampled the pies on display,
While CG ladled glasses of lemonade.
Ms Rue and Billy had the dunk tank set up,
While Ms Darkly organized the cake walk,
MoonshineNoire enjoyed a muffin or two,
Townspeople hovering from booth to booth.
Upon 1sagani's suggestion,
A kissing booth was opened.
Loren was assigned to take the first shift,
She put up a sign, "5 cents per Kiss"

AJ saw Loren, red lipstick applied,
He felt worried, he won't deny.
He went to the booth, and asked her fast,
"Can't you give this one a pass?"
Loren shook her head no.
"We'll all take turns, we'll give it a go.
Its for the girls, AJ, it's for a good cause,"
She gave him a wink, "Are you jealous?"
AJ answered with a resounding yes,
He can't imagine her kissing anybody else.
Loren noticed it, and was quick to say,
"Now, no won ton kicking the customers away."
"How about buying a kiss, buttercup?
Keep buying til my time's up!"
AJ smiled and told her to wait,
He ran to get something from the cafe.
AJ returned with a piggy bank in hand,
With a single tap, it cracked open.
He smiled and asked, "Is that enough?"
Loren giggled as she counted them up.
Those next in line began to grumble,
But a look from the baker reduced it to a mumble,
"Wait for your turn, boys!" Loren gave a shout.
"CG's up next, so you better quiet down."
Loren finished counting, swept the counter clean,
"I'll take a dollar, at 5 cents a kiss,
Each one lasts up to a minute.
That makes twenty, so pucker up, AJ.
You're the only one I'll be kissing today."
Without warning, AJ burst out singing,
"Hey Soul Sister" in perfect timing.
He felt so strange, he couldn't stop,
He only sings when he's taking a bath.
Loren giggled when AJ was done.
"Well, AJ, that was a really cute song.
If that's for me, that's really sweet,
And it's about time you claim that kiss."
