Hello?

It had been such a long time

Jujube just wished to see

Ruechari again

His father Chief Gummy Bear

Said she was his,

and that's how it is.

And although it may not seem fair

He should try and make her happy.

And to this Jujube swore

Though he hoped for something more.

He refused to even consider another

Something taught to him by his mother

She told him no sense looking to roam

When already you know where is home.

So he kept Ruechari in his thoughts

Wondering how she's been?

Wondering has she ever thought of him?

Then he saw her in the street

His heart skipped a beat

She was looking round and round

This dirty, dry, forsaken town

His mouth was suddenly dry

This "lemonade" he gave a try

Suddenly feeling a little more brave

He snuck up behind her and pulled her braid.

Ruechari turned and looked surprised

Then smiled when she met his eyes.

Jujube? Is that you?

And then before he knew

In song he did implore...

"Hello, was it me you were looking for?"

Ruechari could not believe the words he sung

They were beautiful but somehow stung

The truth that she wished they came from another

Didn't quite at this moment become her

Only to make matter worse

Almost as if it were rehearsed

Billy appeared saying,

"No, she'd be looking for me.

We haven't met. The name's Billy.

And just so we're clear,

Whatever you think is happening

Isn't going to happen here."

Jujube looked at Billy confused.

And found his comment rather rude.

"You talk as if I have something to lose.

I wasn't given a choice, and neither was she

But there is one thing I know with certainty

Ruechari...belongs to me."

Billy pulled Rue away

"I need a decision, Rue.

I need it today.

I can't keep going on this way."

He swigged some lemonade

CG served on this hot day.

Then threw down his cup,

He was fed up.

The words began to pour

Though he knew he'd regret opening that door

"I can't give in anymore..."

Billy wondered how it could be

That he just sang to Ruechari

The words although were how he felt

He knew it was a harsh blow he dealt

Her eyes where glazed with unshed tears

And in them he'd seen his own fears

Loren came running up.

Sloshing lemonade from her cup.

"Uh Rue we have a sitch...

Looks like CG ditched."

Rue took the cup from her hand

She threw it back and took her stand.

"Gentleman, hate to seem so uncouth

But I'm needed at the Kissing Booth."

Neither of them knew what to say

As they watched her walk away.
