7 {Fight}

JAEHYUN'S P.O.V

As I reached Minhee's office, I noticed that she was munching on some tuna sandwiches with a cup of coffee from the vending machine on her table.

"Minhee-ah..." She looked up from her file that she was reading and widened her eyes when she saw me. Minhee rolled her eyes away and resumed what she was doing.

"Minhee-ah. Why did you leave the restaurant without informing me?" I questioned, hoping that she did not know what hanky panky was going on in the gents. Minhee almost choked on her coffee. "Please use your honorifics in the hospital." Minhee replied with a straight face.

"Dr Minhee, can you please answer my question?" I sounded a little pissed as I was getting a little impatient. The lady slammed her file onto the table. "Do I really need to answer that?! You should've asked yourself!"

With that, Minhee stormed out of her office. She stopped at the door, and said, "If you have nothing else, please leave."

Guilt filled my heart. Why do I feel like that? She most probably saw it. Urgh! Why did I do that? Why am I so dumb?! I was supposed to make things right between the both of us but I messed things up again.

I'm sorry, Minhee. I really am.

YOUR P.O.V

Did Jaehyun just asked what he did wrong?! I got really triggered because he was acting all innocent when I clearly saw everything. Why is he so insensitive?

Why am I feeling so mad?

I decided to visit Nayeon's ward to calm down since I was still afraid that Jaehyun would still linger around my office area.

As I walked inside, I saw her sleeping peacefully. She was really calm and looked like an angel. This scene did made me feel relaxed. I can't help but to smile at her sleeping position. She was all curled up on the bed. I feel really sorry for her.

She was diagnosed with congenital heart disease and she does not have any clue about it. Congenital heart disease has something to with the structure of the heart. She was born with it and had no choice but to live with it but she did not know the truth at all.

"Mummy. Daddy. Do you guys still love me?" I turned my head to face her and a tear rolled down her cheeks and onto the pillow. Tears welled up in my eyes as well. She was sleep talking.

I decided to leave the ward before I start to bawl my eyes out. I wiped away a stray tear that rolled down from my eyes and walked back to my office.

"Hey Minhee!" Oh there we go again. "What do you want? Can you just leave me alone?!" I guess Jaehyun was a little shocked because he backed two steps away from me.

"Geez. I just wanted to apologise. I'm really sorry for leaving you like that. Can you forgive me?" I glared at him. "Did you really just leave your dinner to make out with the waitress in the men's bathroom? There's no use apologising now. We are just colleagues from now on and I will only talk to you if it concerns work, nothing more."

Jaehyun seemed confused. "Are things really that serious?" Just then, I felt a sharp pain in my chest area. I left him dumbfounded, rooted at his spot while I ran to the washroom.

I held on to the sink as my legs were feeling wobbly. I cannot take in too much emotions. Why is he the only one capable of doing this to me?

Just then, the door opened, revealing Nurse Seo. She just joined the hospital about 2 weeks ago, and she is pretty showy and flamboyant.

"Annyeonghaseyo." She bowed to me. I bowed back, while still clutching onto my chest. "Are you and Dr Jung dating? Why were you guys quarrelling?" I knew she was curious because she also has developed a liking towards Jaehyun.

I'm not oblivious to everything that is happening. I saw her trying to pass Jaehyun a gift, and the gift was a Rolex watch. Seriously, what is so good about him anyway?

I walked out of the bathroom, only to be greeted by the same sight: girls flying to Jaehyun's side.

However, what surprised me was...
