I swear I love going to the bathroom at this elementary school because the little girls always ask me questions about what it's like to be a teenager XD
One little girl just walked past the stall, saw my shoes, then said "Do I even know you??" To which I replied "Probably not, I'm _________'s daughter lol"
"So you're like a real adult?"
"Well I am a teenager, so not quite."
"Oh wow I've never met a real life teenager before"
Iconic.
Also, yesterday it was this:
Me: *washing my hands*
Second grader who's been staring at me, standing at the door for like forty-five minutes: When did you get your phone?
Me: Ummm when I was 13 I think *smiles*
Second grader: Oh. My parents won't let me have one until I'm a teenager.
Me: Oh, how old are you?
Second grader: Eight.
Me: Well I didn't get a phone until I was busy enough to need one, but there are plenty of other fun things out there.
Then the little girl just grinned real big and skipped off.
I love this school omg.
