HELLO MY DEAREST READERS. I AM BACK TO DISCUSS MY FAVORITE BAND, MAYBE OF ALL TIME, GORILLAZ. THIS IS ALSO CURRENTLY MY FAVORITE TOPIC OF DISCUSSION AT THE MOMENT.
Okay but why does the beginning of the song Demon Days sound like a Hamilton song? Tell me why -- (AIN'T NOTHIN BUT A HEARTACHE-H-HEARTBREAK? ACHY-BREAKY-HEART).
My current favorite songs by them are Rockit ('The world is very sexy' would be my senior quote if I didn't go to a super strict school, plus we don't even do senior quotes like whattheheck), Hallelujah Money, To Binge (ALSO APPARENTLY THIS SONG WAS IN THE ORIGINAL PILOT FOR GRAVITY FALLS SHHOOOK), Plastic Beach, Superfast Jellyfish, Fire Coming Out of the Monkey's Head, Last Living Souls, El Manana (it won't let me type the proper accent mark over the first 'n' in Manana but just know that I know it's there lol), and Every Planet We Reach Is Dead.
OKAY I WANNA DISCUSS SOME MORE LEGIT ISSUES INVOLVING GORILLAZ AT THE MOMENT.
CONTRADICTORY TO WHAT A LOT OF FANS WILL SAY, IT'S OKAY TO BE MORE INTO THE FICTIONAL SIDE OF GORILLAZ THAN THE IRL SIDE. IT'S OKAY TO REFER TO THE LEAD SINGER AS '2D' INSTEAD OF 'DAMON ALBARN'. IT'S OKAY. THERE'S NOTHING WRONG WITH IT AT ALL.
ALSO I WANNA SHOW YALL THE PICTURE I PAINTED OF 2D IN THE SATURNZ BARZ VIDEO BUT I MAY HAVE TO POST THAT A LITTLE LATER.
Okay I also really hope that in Humanz, Damon Albarn (2D) sings a bit more than the collaborators. Idk I just don't want them to absolutely take over the album.
Why is Murdoc so attractive in the cover art of Humanz (I'm assuming that's the cover art idk tho) like can u not thx.
Also, in that same cover art, 2D's lil mustache hairs make me very uneasy, no thank you.
