Also, to note, there are tons of little details in each phase that you kind of just have to pick up from various sources. It's all part of the fun. There's no way I can include every last detail.

So, it is currently 10:17 at night here, and I finally sit down to bring to you PHASE 2 IN THE GORILLAZ PLOT.

So before we get into Phase 2, we have to discuss what occurred after Phase 1 and before 2. A transition period.

This period only lasted about a year. The wiki has it listed as being 2003-2004, so we'll go with that.

Let's start with the loveable tol bean, 2D.

So 2D, after the band dismembers for a short while, goes back to Eastbourne to work at his father's amusement park. This experience really upped his confidence and also helped him to regain his grip on reality. Things were looking great for our dear tol lead singer! (I feel like now is as good a time as any to share with you this semi-important knowledge. So I heard this floating on the internet but wasn't entirely if it was true. Unfortunately I can't find the website with the actual emails but I think I found someone on Tumblr who had the emails saved)

(So apparently in Phase 2, 2D fathered a handful of children. And, according to this email, he was really, really bad about child support: (if this isn't the legit email let me know please))
