Cole's P.O.V
I can't believe she's gone. She's just gone. I wish I could've stopped Perry from running, I may have been able to stop a lot of things if I did. One can assume that that was where everything started to crumble. Our friendship, our sanity, our...lives. After that event, Riley, Jack and I went back to the geranthemar's village. Perry's words echoed in my head over and over again. I just couldn't get them. Riley seemed normal, or as normal as she could get, and Jack looked out of it. I guess we were all a little shaken up, even if some of us showed a little less of a reaction than others. I felt lost. I felt as if I had nowhere to go. I felt empty or as if something was missing. Like I had spent all this time building a masterpiece, every piece in its respected position, and someone has stolen the main clock. I needed Perry. It may have been a crush at the time but now, I wanted her more than ever.

We were nearing the pink tree when I decided to speak up. "Guys... I think I should-"

"Don't even think about it," Riley whispered. I looked up at her, confused by what she just said.

"I don't want to lose anyone else, Cole. So please don't go after her,"

"Riley, Perry's our friend. We can't just forget about her,"

"NO, COLE! WE CAN! She brought us to this world and I'm grateful for that, but now she wants to take that away!"

"Riley," Jack sighed in sympathy for Riley understanding what she meant.

"Still," I mumbled, I couldn't get over the fact that Perry just ran off.

Once we made it back to the village, the geranths ran up to Riley asking her all sorts of questions varying from 'Are you okay?' to 'What in the name of Burr was that?'. "I'm fine, thanks for asking. What just happened is nothing to worry about. I took care of it," Riley stated assuring the geranths of their safety. Is that right? Shouldn't she be telling them the truth? I want to say she should explain to them everything but I understand her thinking. It's not because she doesn't trust them, but because she doesn't want chaos. Humans act carelessly when faced with a dangerous situation but these guys aren't human. We have no idea how they may act or if they can help us in any way. "Hey Riley, what's our next move?" Jack asked out of the blue. I could tell he was scared. He may love Riley but Perry was still his friend. He couldn't handle the thought of her by herself scared and defenceless. "I think we should stay here for a while. Wait until anything suspicious happens and then investigate it," Riley replied looking at the two of us. I never gave it any thought but now that I think about it, we looked up to Riley. She acted as our leader at that point. She seemed like she was the only person with a level-head. If only I knew what was going on in her head.

Riley's P.O.V

They were all looking towards me for an answer. Me! Why me? I'm not smart, I can't think straight, what kind of plan should I think of? Probably a safe one. "I think we should stay here for a while. Wait until anything suspicious happens and then investigate it," I said back to Jack. I wanted to scream. They were looking at me for their answers, their actions, their next moves. I would be held for full responsibility! Should I take this chance? What are the consequences? My mind was overflowing with different outcomes, situations that would lead to disaster and others that were impossible.

That night the geranths provided us with a cute, small cottage to sleep in. It was perfect. I loved the design, but at that time I couldn't pay attention to the beautiful details of that safe haven. I was paranoid and couldn't sleep, so I left the house into the garden and sat on the porch to think. On the outside, I was a shivering queen too tired to sleep but on the inside, I WAS SCREAMING! DROWNING IN AN OCEAN OF IDEAS AND SCENARIOS THAT COULD ALL GO WRONG! I couldn't take all this stress, I needed a way to lighten the load.

That's when I heard the singing coming from the forest. I followed the angelic voice until I could see a faint glowing object in a clearing. When I got closer it's light got brighter and I could see a green glowing flower. It was calling me, begging me to pluck it from the ground and take it away. I leant in closer to make sense of the ominous song it was singing. The moonlight shone down on the flower and its song became clearer. It sang:

I sing a song for you
Come closer here
I sing a song for you
Listen, my dear

Your soft long hair flows like the wind on a beautiful day
You look like someone I knew who I use to play

I know it sounds wrong but come closer to me
Let yourself play with me

Pull me from the ground
I promise it won't hurt
Tuck me in your pocket
Clear me of the dirt

We'll conquer kingdoms
Gain more friends
You and me
Together till the end

And we'll have so much fun together
Forever
Always clever
In the sun and the wind

I'll make all your desires true
I'll bring that special person back to you
I know you miss her
And she misses you
Perry loves you
But she doesn't need you

Let's make her know she does...
So let's be buds...

Once the song ended, I could feel something damp against my cheeks. I brought my hand up to my face and felt the single tear that was making it's way down to the ground. I pulled the flower up from the ground and dusted the dirt off. And that's all I could remember when I was in that world. Everything else was a big blur. When I woke up I was back in the normal world and everyone was crying. I don't remember anything else in that mysterious world, so this is where my perspective ends. Because, according to what I was told, the next part will be told by a different person. Someone ruthless, someone with no morals, someone crazier- no more psychotic than me... Her name was Shauna and God helps anyone who made an enemy out of her...

A/N:

I am sooooooo close to 300 reads! I post this new chapter for those who are still reading and those who are theorising which way this book will go cuz at this moment I'm steering a boat with a lot of cargo. By cargo I mean plot twists, maybe some character development and a lot of identity problems... yeah. Let's hope everyone is ready for these trouble-causing teens.

Emily: Unlike Broken

Well, let's not bring Broken up

Emily: It seemed like a good plot but your grammar, vocab and everything is wrong. Did you even proof-read it?

Anyway, it's been what a month since I've published anything. Well, it's finally Summer so get ready for some updates...maybe...kinda...probably...not.

Emily: You being well, you I expect you to publish at least one chapter per month, meaning you'll probably only post 2 or 3 chapters this summer.

Hey, I have a busy summer of vacation and homework as well as new movies to watch in cinemas that make me feel old like Cars 3...

Emily: Well, maybe this Thursday you'll actually get an update out...

Anyway, see ya later my little spider monkeys!
