Inferno's POV

I run trough the forest, letting the link Saber set up between me and Angel lead me to her. My heart beats erratically as I rapidly get closer to her. I don't know how long I've been running to try and catch up to her, and all I know is I haven't slept in a long time. I can't and I won't rest. I might fall asleep if I rest.

After what feels like eternity but at the same time only a few minutes, I catch up to Angel. Panic starts to set in when I can't see her, and I wonder if she found the bond and somehow broke it or messed up where it was leading me somehow. I don't know how Darkness works, I don't know what it can or can't do.

I start carefully examining the whole area. After a couple minutes, I spot her high up in the branches of a tree. Just seeing her puts a smile on my face. I don't know how I got so attached to her so quickly, and all I know is I need her. She can't leave me again, I won't allow it.

I start to climb the tree carefully until I reach the branch that she is on. Studying her face, I realize she is sleeping, but restlessly. Maybe she's having a nightmare.

Worry for Angel fills me. I place my hand upon her forehead and close my eyes, sending a cleansing fire into her mind to banish any Darkness. It shouldn't control her dreams too, it's already controlling her life.

When I open my eyes, I notice that Angel looks more calm and relaxed than before. I breathe a sigh of relief and slowly start to move my hand away when suddenly, Angel grabs it. She intertwined our fingers and brings my hand to her chest, causing a huge smile to bloom on my face. It's slightly uncomfortable, but I'll survive as long as she's okay.

My eyes drift shut as I tighten my grip on the trunk of the tree and make sure my feet are securely placed on two branches. Soon I am drifting into my own dream, one with Angel.

I look around me and see myself standing on the other side of a clearing to Angel in the middle of a dark forest. My first thought is about how weird this sensation is, watching myself. It's kind of creepy actually.

I go over to Angel and I recoil when I see the powerful anger in her gaze directed at me. Well, not me, the other me. The dream me. But why is Angel so angry at me?

"Why are you here? I told you to leave me alone Inferno, why won't you ever listen to me?!" She angrily shouts, stomping her foot on the ground. The other me walks forward, looking so depressed that it hurts. He reaches out to Angel and says,

"I only don't listen when you're talking utter nonsense, like now. I won't leave you alone, and it's because I love you. I won't let you leave." He seems to get angry at the thought of Angel leaving, which causes a spark of rage to light in my own heart. But the other me's anger seems to fuel Angel's. Her eyes dangerously swirl with dark red mixed with other shades of red and orange, the other colors pushed back to show her full rage.

"You love me? Really?" Angel yells, then cruelly laughs. She adds in an emotionless voice, "You never loved me, not really. If you did, then you would have stopped this! You would have saved me Inferno, but now it's too late. You lost me, just like I lost my Light." Angel's wings appear and they are completely black, causing tears to come to mine and dream me's eyes. She launches herself into the sky, flying farther and farther away with each beat of her powerful, pitch black wings.
