Saber's POV

"Saber, will you come here for a second?" Nia requests mentally, sounding nice. Too nice. Something's wrong. I rush out of the library where I was studying up on war tactics and rapidly make my way to Nia's office, where she is working on paperwork. Once I arrive, I burst in, knowing Nia is expecting me so I don't have to knock.

"Nia, what's wrong?" I ask, standing in front of her desk. Nia strongly glares at me, her blue-green eyes steadily becoming darker with rage.

"What's wrong? What's wrong?! What's wrong is the fact that I just felt a weak pull from mine and Cerin's bond, and guess where it was from?" She shouts. I nervously gulp, "From Gato Reino! Saber, what do you know about this?" I stay silent, trying to work out what I should say to calm her down, "Saber you tell me right now what you did to Cerin or so help me God you will be joining him!" My eyes widen at that, since I know that Nia can and will send me to Gato Reino and close off her realm, making it impossible for me to enter. Not wanting that to happen at all, I answer,

"Well, I hit Cerin on the back of the head, that was really fun by the way he totally deserved it but anyway, I hit him on the back of the head and then strapped him to Balto's back and sent Balto to peacefully deliver Cerin to Ivy so she could try and change him back to the nicer Cerin, the one that doesn't act all possessive and stuff with you and try to make you kill our babies." I take a deep breath in, having lost it all after answering so rapidly. Nia's eyes narrow into slits and become pitch black as she pins me down with her death glare.

"So let me get this straight. You knocked Cerin unconscious, had Balto take Cerin to Ivy's castle where they hate Dark Hounds, causing him to get attacked and nearly die. Does that sound right?" She says emotionlessly, taking slow, predatory steps towards me. Every step she takes, I take one back until I feel the wall up against my back, and I am unable to move anymore.

"Yes." I nervously answer, my voice going slightly more high pitched. Nia roars in rage and shoves me powerfully, launching me through the castle wall. I land with an oomph on the mountain top below, the air knocked out of me and probably most of my bones broken. Oh well, I'll heal.

After a few minutes, Nia stomps over and peers down at me, rage still simmering in her eyes. I smile sweetly at her, which I can tell just slightly decreases her anger. With a frustrated growl, Nia picks me up by the throat.

She keeps her grip on my neck tight enough to be slightly painful and so I won't escape, but not tight enough to cause any damage. She enters the castle as angry as a raging bull. Nia practically drags me behind her as she angrily stomps through the castle, growling and snapping at anyone who looks at us or gets in her way, quickly making her way to the basement of it where I know the prison is. She pries open a cell and chucks me in, snarling,

"You'll stay in there for as long as I want you to stay in there. You'll only leave when I permit you to, and when you do leave, you will be chained to me to stop you from escaping. Understand?"

"Yes ma'am." I state jokingly, saluting her. She slams the cell door shut, storming off and leaving me in here. I sigh, resting my head on my hands as I stare at the opposite cage, getting lost in my own mental world where everything in life is perfect. If only it could actually be like that, then Nia and I would be happily together with our children, safe and sound with no danger, no responsibilities to a kingdom. Maybe even no Hounds!

The thought of the irritating Balto not even existing makes me kind of happy. I hope he recovers though. He might be annoying and not like me very much, but still, he's important to Nia which makes him important to me. I guess.
