My Annoying Protector and Husband? (BOOK TWO)

{They're Alive!!}

**Iris' POV**

          I got up from my bed. I looked over at the clock and saw I had only slept about an hour. I kept having dreams of Jeff and Isabelle. When I had finished dreaming I instantly woke up and looked for Jeff it had taken me a bit to realize he's um he's d-dead. I let a sob escape and the word pathetic ran through my head 'I could've done something, I could've turned on my abilities then maybe Jeff would be here with me!'

         Masky came into my room and saw me crying, I looked up at him and whispered "I could've done something, it's my fault" he sat next to me and hugged me "It's not your fault, there is nothing you could have done" I just cried and cried, I let all the grieve out that I had been holding back and yet it was not enough.

         Some time later I stopped crying "thanks Masky" I whispered and got up "no problem, I'm gonna go make the plans to where to look for Cierra and Isabelle" I nodded and he left. Once he was gone I got some blue high waisted jeans, a white button up t-shirt and my converse.

         As I finished getting ready I walked downstairs to the living room "yeah, me, Slendy and Iris can go look for Cierra and Isabelle while you and Masky go look for the rest of the pastas who went missing" BEN says "why can't Slendy stay?" BEN shakes his head "because he's the one who had the dream as to where they are." I step inside and speak "BEN, Slendy can we go now? I need to find Isabelle to know she's safe and Cierra too" Masky walks over "I need to help find Cierra please I need to go with you guys" BEN looks back at Hoody and sighs "alright you go with them, I'll go with Hoody." And we all go.

{Time Skip}

          We walked, looking for Cierra and Isabelle "Slendy where did you say you saw them?" I asked while still looking around "I am sure we'll come across the tree I saw, it is not a normal tree, well at least not the feeling" I nodded. Suddenly Slendy looked up "that is the tree" he pointed to the gray, brown tree which looked dead. The branches in contorted shapes and sizes some even looked like branches made out of humans.

       We looked around and Masky shouted "I see blond hair!" I rushed over to where Masky was "where?!" He pointed to a small ditch there I could see blond hair. I pulled out a flashlight that Slendy insisted on us taking just in case. I could see Cierra holding something and I was praying it was Isabelle 'please let it be Isabelle, please.'

{Time Skip}

          We brought Cierra to the house,Slendy being careful she was still holding who I'm hoping is Isabelle. Once she was on the guest room I separated her from who I now see is Isabelle! I hugged her as tears rolled down my face. I kissed her as she cried, I'm guessing she's hungry I mean I don't think she's eaten anything at all. I take her to the kitchen and get her bottle, she drinks it and I put her on my bed.

           Soon she falls asleep. Once Cierra woke up I brought soup and some tea for her since she'd been in the cold for a while. She began eating but stayed quiet. Almost as if she was thinking about something "hey can I ask you a question? I mean after this one" she nodded "sure" I sat facing her "how did you escape?" She let out a shaky breath "w-well um..."

*Cierra's POV**

      I don't to remember. That awful creature! I want to forget that beast I saw that day. "How did you escape?" I let out a shaky breath "w-well um..."

**FLASHBACK**

      "Peek-a-boo!" Isabelle giggled at the childish game. Aww she's so cute. I sat her on the bed along with her teddy bear. Suddenly a low growl emerged from nowhere in particular. I quickly opened the window, and grabbed Isabelle ready to jump out.

      Soon the growl became louder and the creature came from the closet. The three walls in front of us covered in hands reaching out as if asking me to help them, and for a slight second I could sense a cloaking spell coming from the creature. I couldn't stop staring at the creature, it was like, like, no there are no words to describe "IT." I was paralyzed with fear which had never happened to me before. Isabelle's cries brought me back to reality and I knew we had to escape. I knew the creature would follow so I had to use the spell to make doubles of us.

        I lifted my free hand and said "Ιν θε μιρρορ θέρε αρε τωό, βρινγκ φορτη α δοππελγανγερ κρεατεδ φρομ θε μιρρορ λανδς." Soon copies of both Isabelle and I were on the bed, mine was screaming and Isabelle's was crying. I leaped out of the window, holding Isabelle and transformed into my dragon form. I hid in the woods but soon got lost. I came across an mirror.

      I knew right away it was a portal to another dimension. I heard a growl and jumped through. The beast was the same type of beast that had killed Jeff and kidnapped all the others. It soon saw me and started to run towards me. I smashed the mirror into pieces.

    I held Isabelle tight "I promise Iris, I'll protect Isabelle with my life" I whispered. I turned around and got even more lost. I soon found a tree and just laid there, I was exhausted and I fell asleep.

**Iris' POV**

    By the time she was finished telling me what happened she was in tears. I hug her and ask "do you want me to take the memory of the beast away? I'll do it if you want" she quickly nodded "please." I pushed her down gently and put my hand on her forehead "close your eyes." She closed them and I began "Μια μνήμη που δεν ήθελε είχε μείνει. Χαραγμένο πλέον καθορίζει η ίδια διαγράψει από τη μνήμη της μια για πάντα!" Her eyes opened and she smiled at me "thank you Iris."

     I nodded "you're welcome, now rest you need it." She lay her head on the pillow and went to sleep.
