Where am I?

I don't remember anything that happened last night.

I'm pretty sure that me and Taylor are fighting but it must be over something stupid because I don't remember it.

I sit up and my stomach hurts really bad.

"Good morning," I hear someone say. I turn my head and I see Jack Johnson.

"Oh, hi Jack," I say.

"You fell asleep and we didn't want to wake you up so we just let you stay here," he says.

"Thanks, um, do you have any tums or anything?" I ask.

"For sure man," Jack G says.

He walks down the hall and comes back with some tums and then sits by me and Johnson.

"Thanks," I say and I take the medicine.

"You don't have school today?" Johnson asks.

"No, I got suspended," I say.

"For what?" He asks.

"For fighting a girl, don't you have school?" I ask.

"We go to night school. That's why we were out last night and then we saw you walking on the street," Gilinsky says.

"Oh, I really don't remember any of that," I say.

"Do you need a ride home?" Johnson asks.

"Please," I say.

"I'll go grab my keys, don't fall asleep again," he laughs and gets his keys.

"And we gave you our numbers so if you need help or a ride or anything just call us," Gilinsky says.

"Thanks," I smile and I give him a hug.

"Bye," I say.

"Bye," he says back.

I walk outside with Jack Johnson and we get in his car.

"Do I look bad? I haven't looked in a mirror since before the party," I say.

"No, you look fine," he says.

"Thanks," I say.

"So where do you live?" He asks.

"I'm Taylor's neighbor," I say.

"Oh, so you're the girl he's been talking about?" He says.

"He's been talking about me?" I ask.

"Ever since you've moved in he's had the hots for you. He always talked about how beautiful and sweet you are," Jack says.

I get butterflies in my stomach, "really?"

"Yeah," he says.

I can't stop smiling. That's the sweetest thing I've ever heard.

I see my house and I unbuckle my seatbelt when he pulls in the driveway.

"Remember to call us if you need us," he says.

I search around for my phone but I can't find it.

"Uh, I think I left it at your house," I say.

"Oh, I could go get it for you," he says.

"No, it's fine. You could drop it off after you're done with school tonight, is that okay?" I ask.

"Of course, see you later," he says.

"Thank you," I say again and I give him a hug.

"No problem, bye," he says.
