Chapter Twenty-Six

Last night was one of the best nights I've had in a while. Me and Jack just cuddled by the campfire and talked all night.

Right now everyone is on their way up here and we're staying for the weekend. Nash, Hayes, and Tira are the first ones to show up. Then Cameron, Aaron, Jack Johnson, and Carter are after them. Last is Taylor, Matthew, Mahogany, and Lexi. Shawn can't make it because he's volunteering to sing at a children's hospital.

When Lexi and Taylor walk in, they're holding hands. The strange thing is, I don't feel jealous at all. I could honestly care less.

"Can we talk?" Lexi says to me.

"Sure," I say.

I begin to walk outside and she follows me.

"Are you mad at me?" She asks.

"No, why would I be mad?" I ask.

"Because I'm with Taylor," she says.

"I don't care," I laugh.

"So you're not mad at all?"

"Nope."

"Oh, well sorry anyways," she says.

"But aren't you pregnant?" I ask.

"Yeah," she says.

"Does Taylor know?" I ask.

"No," she says.

"Are you going to tell him?" I ask.

"I wasn't planning on it," she says.

"You better tell him, or I will," I say.

"I'll tell him," she says.

"Right now," I say.

"Okay," she says.

She walks inside and I follow her in. She whispers to Taylor and they both walk outside.

After about 10 minutes they both come in. Taylor's face is completely pale.

"What's wrong?" I ask him.

"I think I'm going to be a dad," he says.

Lexi told him that he was the dad?

"Come here," I say and I go outside.

"Lexi told you that you were the dad?" I ask.

"Yeah," he says.

Why.

"Carter's the dad. She's been pregnant for weeks," I say.

"Why would she tell me I'm the dad?" He asks.

"I don't know," he says.

"You guys hooked up two days ago. She wouldn't have told you that you're the dad if she didn't think that you were the dad. Unless.."

It all makes sense.

"Lexi's the one you cheated on me with!" I yell.

Taylor rubs his hand against his neck.

"You said that you hated her?" I say, confused.

"But she'll fuck anyone," he says.

"You're a pig," I say and I go back inside.

Lexi smiles at me and I give her a dirty look. Her smile fades and she has a confused look on her face.

What a bitch.

"You look mad," Tira says.

"I am," I say.

"Why?" She asks.
